I remember when Adrienne used to hate her voice. Now she just bursts out into song. (And sounds good!) She's grown so much as have all the ladies on the show. It will be missed.
I always enjoyed her sassy, jazzy singing style. Attitude. Ad-libs during The Cheetah Girls days were lit. 🔥

I learned the HARD way what Adrienne said. I ignored a bunch of 🚩🚩🚩 with a new “friend” until she unleashed her wrath on me one day for absolutely no reason. I was like nope nope nope nope nope. Your past traumas and insecurities are making you bleed ALL over people who don’t deserve that. I cut ties that same day.
I agree with Adrienne on this 100%, honey it's just not your turn yet. There are people who come across as nice as pie and are good at charming people ... but ALWAYS take notice of how they treat others because you're next in line. Narcissists are experts at "love bombing" friends but as sure as the sun rises the devaluetion and gaslighting will come.

As a recruiter, jeannie is absolutely right. Managers are usually looking for someone that is going to add value. Focus on the value you can add and less on what you don’t know.
When people talk bad all day everyday about others to me , I just wonder if they talk bad about me to others . I would definitely bring it up to her and figure out why she’s so comfortable talking bad about people to me
When your friend is bad mouthing your other friends to you, please know she is doing the same thing to you as well.

Yes Adrienne! Wait your turn! I have ignored this behavior in the past, defended them, AND made excuses for them. And boy did I get the same treatment eventually…. A couple of those “friends” came back and apologized profusely but man, the damage was done and they were vicious.
So yes, limit to only when you have to be around them. Like Jeannie said, be cognizant of what you say around then or expose about yourself. Best believe they will do the same thing to you and most likely already are, just behind your back.

I have a "friend" who does this same thing and I've been approaching it the way Jeannie said. I establish distance. It doesn't take energy. It's just about having boundaries.
Yes , I recently did the same .I hear how she talks about others and the moment I started putting boundaries because I felt she was codependent with me .Once I started to creat distance, her colors started coming out with me so I just keep it short and to the point when I do cross paths.
I agree with Adrienne for sure. It really hasn't been her turn yet and she just feels like ending the friendship Is her option and not a conversation. It could be she has even done it to her in passing and she overlooked it at the time. Jeannie is also right you can have a boundary with people and be civil to them. But as for me if we are just being civil then we are not friends, we are merely associates. It's either we friends or not...no in between.

The first topic!!! I learned the hard way… My best friend always would say things about our other friends, and I would feel bad but say nothing. Until one day a friend told me what she said about me. In front of everyone, I asked her why she would say that… She got upset and said I wanted to start drama and walked off… We have yet to have our come to Jesus, but we should learn to notice the red flags…and NOT IGNORE THEM!
Definitely walk away from anyone who treats people badly. Because you can't trust them and their not a good person. I agree with Adrienne, it just hasn't happened to you, yet. But it will. How people care for those around them is a showcase of their character. Who wants to be around someone who breaks others down? Life is too short and trouble is promised, why willingly add more to your life? Keeping a friend like that is just delaying calamity.

I have a friend who always says they miss and that they feel like I’m being distant when literally I just stopped making plans with them because they were always cancelling and then we would be together they were so locked in to their phone it was like why am I here I could be doing something else with this time I thought we were hanging out together. I love them they are still my friends I just value my time and if can’t even be present I feel like you don’t care or are interested in me or my life

Well, with regards to the posting about the firing and interviewing, sometimes that ''positive spin'' when being honest does not always work. Some hiring managers can see through it. Depending on the field, too, it can be hard to reenter the same line of work after being fired, especially when it comes down to checking references and calling the previous employer who could say anything in confidence.
Adrienne is 1000% CORRECT, I've been through this twice and it'll NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN
(Funny enough they were both Aries, go figure)
Jobs never ask or care why you got fired even if it's wrongfully. So lied and say they lost the contract or you left to find a better opportunity. Never answer negative in the interview.
Most jobs only say your days of employment and your role and never mention if you were fired or not but obviously don't add them as a reference but I would not mention I was fired.
One of my sister in laws is really nice to me, but not so nice to other people. 👀

Never ever say you were fired or let go. It never looks good not matter how much you make it positive. And you can not control how someone may receive it. Just leave it at, I am looking for an opportunity to leverage my skills. Layoffs are exceptions.

The way I see it, is a good occasion to help her getting better. She may not even realized how her behavior is bad towards others. I think with this canceled culture, we tend to give up easily. I feel and debating if that I should completely cut off my so called friend out my life because they only call or text me when I want something. They didn’t show up to my 21st birthday dinner at the sugar da cuz they claimed that my mom didn’t like them, when I text them, they don’t never reply or answer my phone calls. This didn’t even come to my junior prom and senior prom send off when I was in high school or my high school graduation and here I am about to be a senior in college and I talked to this person two weeks ago to play Fortnite and after that I haven’t talked to her since.
