I've prayed about this. I asked The Lord why did He make me so sensitive . The HS replied "to love". We need to learn strong boundries and guard our hearts. "Be wise as a serpent but gentle as a dove". Be blessed.

I have just been made aware of my Empathic abilities. Also I gave my heart to the Lord 2 and a half years ago. I believe it was God that brought me here. It makes sooo much sense of how my life was growing up! I am happy to see validation here from you People. It is a journey I am excited now to go on. Praise the Lord!
It is of my belief that Christ was probably the greatest empath that has ever existed. Kinda goes hand in hand. I am grateful and feel blessed that he has shared this part of himself with me.

I'm a Christian and an empath. I feel everything so deeply.
Just learning about being an empath. I am a Christian. I was told twice by two different Christians that I was a prayer warrior. It's true. My Grandmother and one of my sons are also prayer warriors. My son and I walk into a store, or someone's home and we both can feel and then descern what's going on, we call it the spiritual realm. I truly believe God gives us gifts. When we are weighted down, we take it to God for He says in His word that we should take His yoke, for it is lighter. He also says He is there for the broken hearted and to pray about everything and not worry about anything. I trust Christ for everything in my life. I rest in Him. ❤ immediately He gives me His peace, the kind of peace that passes all understanding. I pray and release everything to Him. He is the One who casted the star into existence! So in awe of Him and grateful that I am His child.
This is also me I have a personal prayer closet...just for going to war I am also an empath where I have cried some one else's tears while praying and they will call me later....or I have a felt nauseous and later a friend would tell me she was sick....
Any advice on how to strengthen my discernment? I usually can walk in a room an immediately feel the vibes I guess but sometimes it’s the small details I notice an not the big ones idk how yo explain

Compassion is spiritual gift which comes with being a empath.
Im a pretty hardcore empath and never feel like im a savior and very rarely feel or act in narcissist Like behaviour i have always felt drawn towards god and believe jesus Christ is my example to follow

Very few Empaths puff themselves up even those I have seen messing with New Age practices. They dont ever puff themselves up either.
I always felt there was something wrong with me because I was always so sensitive to everyone's feelings and feel their pain. I was drawn to Jesus as a child and asked Jesus into my heart at 10 years old. I've prayed many times to understand why I feel this way and I finally recognized that I'm an empath. I also prayed to be able to use this empathy for God. I just have no idea how to use it for helping others find Christ. We need to lead others to Christ, He can use us but it is not we who are the ones to get the glory. To God be the glory!! I'm always asking to be used for people to come to Christ. I find that being a empath has helped so much in bringing people to Christ since I can literally answer questions and about how they feel and be understanding before they even ask and I'm able to read them so well and pray for them about something that I feel and then the Lord will even give me a word of knowledge along with that so it's like they no longer question if he's real once I've answered before they ask and also they start believing when they see Christ in me and my gift of really understanding them and truly caring and they feel that it has to be more then just me, and I feel like the Lord said he gave me this gift since I don't judge people bc I feel like if u judged everyone then u couldn't possibly use ur gift for good since u get so much info about people so if u have good intentions and ur a empath then when u do get that info and feel things then u just wanna help them and help them get exactly what they need and understanding what the Lord has to give us and want for us then it's so incredible to feel and then respond with the Lord's words and with His will, for their lives and every time u step out in ur gift in faith it grows more and more bc God gives us more every time we grow in him in relationship and use what he's given us for others.😊❤ I hope that makes sense.

I thought I was going crazy for many years but I’ve been a Christian since 10yrs old but parted ways when I began high school I reconciled with the Lord 5 yrs ago and got baptized now I’m a servant of Christ and help others in lifting their spirits up.

As a young empath who has always been a Christian, I always ask my personal guidance counselor (the Holy Spirit) to reveal the best ways to help individual people in the moment when they come to me and it ALWAYS delivers
Christians are not always Christian. One must be born again at some pint in life.
I think we are instruments, our empathy is what draws people, the broken ones, and Christ uses us to get to them. And I truly believe it’s our life long mission to keep getting to those broken people and bring them to Christ :) lmk what u think

All gifts come from God. So any healing that we can do comes straight from God. I've always believed in him. My very first memory was being in my mom's stomach and wondering where God was sending me to now. I'm 45 this year and remember it as if it was yesterday.

I can feel God's heart for others also. Sometimes it sucks when in the world. I need to learn to abide in him so I can handle all this intensive emotional bombardment out there.

I love how you used the analogy of making cookies and playing baseball. And saying, “Some people are better at other people in different areas of their life”. As an empath, even just explaining to someone that you’re an empath, you don’t want to come across as better than them or offend them in any way so you downplay your abilities because you sense that person’s insecurities. But this helps me to better approach the situation next time it arises 😊 thank you for this video! God bless!
Ima teenage christian thats an empath and even though its hard being one I still thank God for giving me these abilitys to help/heal others and God helps me and I help others though him from my empathics,I think this guy makes it seems a bit more confusing then it really is being a empath christian

I know this is 4 years later but I so feel you!!! I am an emotional one too...over everything! I didn't even know this was a thing until I found about it last year....I kept on thinking I was off ...
I think those empaths who feel the need to save people were most likely raised by narcissists who taught them everything is their fault and that they are responsible for the emotions of everyone around them.

The Fruit of the Holy Spirit is a biblical term that sums up nine attributes of a person or community living in accord with the Holy Spirit, according to chapter 5 of the Epistle to the Galatians: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control."

Being a divorced attractive male I was really affected by the negative energy from other males in my church. I have been able to get a handle on this recently by understanding my empathetic and using my power positively. Thank you Kirk and 3 Key Elements for the encouraging words and education.
I believe that we feel like others might not understand our gift, and will think we are doing something against God... such as; Witches, or anything demonic.
I have always kept my mouth shut about my gift from my church.
Yes this is me my father is a pastor and I have been afraid to say I'm an empath....i used sage and I take cleansing baths because people weigh so heavy on me I have to ride myself off that energy I'm afraid to tell my father that.....

I ran across a phrase called "a Glory Carrier." Someone who has Christ's Glory shining thru us. I believe this Glory spoken of are the Christlike Spiritual Fruits. Creating a magnet, to those whom need to feel the radiance, of The Light that's instilled in us.. Jesus' light.. They are able to release the negatives, and we are able to fill them with the released mixed spiritual fruits of empathy. (Lovingkindness, meekness, forgiveness, goodness, faith, gentleness, joy and peace) And i guess we empaths hold onto the one left over fruit- long-suffering, until we release the negatives that were absorbed. It's helped me understand and be thankful for the suffering. For it is a spiritual fruit. ✌️🍉🍐🍊
Also, just as some we the light of Christ in us and are drawn to it and want it for themselves there are those who see that light and don't want any part of it and they are the ones who will hurt us and cause us problems....sad but true!
I had a visions of myself carying God's glory it was symbolized as the ark of the covenant. That statement (Glory Carrier) is prophetic.
i was bapist when i was a baby but i can see and sense stuff like spirts around me and i have seen real angels and i smell the baby power of the angel i saw in my house the one i keep getting the feathers from its a blessing

By using this vision in our heads we also keep Him in our hearts!!!!
I've always assumed I was far less sensitive than the average person, and lacked the ability to understand and be in tune with people, and just socially awkward and felt severe social anxiety. I am discovering that the truth is actually the exact opposite. I'm an empath who had no idea, and was extremely confused and disoriented by the massive amount of extra input I tend to gather. Subconsciously my mind always got it and knew what was going on, but I never understood or trusted these feelings. I've always been a Christian, but in my adult life I had stopped regularly attending church and such. Recently I started going to church again as part of my new mission to personally grow more and just be a happier person again, and honestly, that's been around the time I started realizing what an empath is, and that I really am one, and how it can be something I can use to benefit myself and those around me.

You just helped me understand myself so much more.
I have always felt like everyone's therapist and while it never bothers me because I like to help people better understand their emotions, I often lay awake at night crying and asking God why people come to me for understanding and why they don't just read and trust in the words he has given us.
Before clicking getting to this video I kept getting recommendations on Heyoka videos and after diving into that I came to the conclusion (please excuse my ignorance of native american culture I mean no malice and am not trying to demean the sacredness of this title) that this is possibly how Native Americans described empaths.
Your video popped up on my UA-cam home page and it called to me. I have always asked God why I always tend to take the role of mediator and never choose a side and now I see that the way I see the world is a blessing from God. A kind of instinct that has been programmed in me by Him to remind me that situations and emotions in people are temporary and there is always a bigger picture in which i have somehow been blessed to be able to see after careful thought and deliberation.
I might not make much sense right now. I have many emotions and chills running through me right now.
I thank the Lord for guiding me to this information to better understand myself. Now I will try to get a better grasp on my nature and how I can use it to bring people to our Father. Thank you!
We as empaths can live in the teachings of Christ. We live a life to better other people's lives. I call it planting the seed to become the person you were meant to be on this earth. To feed one's soul. Love is not wrong. Jesus walked among us just like Buddha and just like Martin Luther King and let's not forget Mother Theresa. We have to learn to love. All the teachings are simply about love. Love thyn self!

I can so absorb people's feelings etc. so quickly that sometimes it's great and sometimes I am overwhelmed and I get discouraged especially when it is negativity. It seems to find me somehow!!! I am a Christian and I do think it is a gift.

Yes I think everyone can learn to better empathize with others but as an empath I literally feel others' feelings within my own body very intensely like they were my own feelings, and sometimes I can pick up others' thoughts and at times even the presence of spiritual entities (spooky huh!) I don't think this kind of empathic intensity can be learned but is the gift. I'm also a Christian and as a Christian I believe God can enhance this gift with complimentary spiritual gifts to truly deeply help others with a laser point accuracy that goes way beyond just empathic ability to the inner core of what a person really needs help with.
How do you deal with the emotions and energy people can leave? I am in a job where i am around women all day (beauty industry) and its so overwhelming and draining at the end of the day. I cannot seem to separate myself from the feelings of others.

1: Good video. But I think a little different. Every single person born has the attributes of God. And empathy is one of them.
2: I believe he’s confusing the scriptures where it says all believers are to ESTEEM others above themselves.
3. Also the gift of the spirit is mercy=. I can only be done by a believer. But not every believer has it. Mercy can be someone who has raped and beat a person. And forgive them. And later If the Lord asked that believer to go to them and serve them a meal. That believer could do it with joy.

4. Karina has that gift of “ mercy’s” she has empathy. But at a limited rate. I have mercy’s and empathy. Empathy is when you feel the pain of the person.
5: that part where he says some empaths are like a savior a believe that. It’s actually called co depandancy. Co depend is the opposite of the fruit of the spirit. It’s dangerous. I used to be a co depandant. (It’s a person is a door mat.).
6.ive meet some empaths who don’t stand up for themselves. The old me. But all empaths I believe need to learn their identity in the Lord and BOUNDARIES.
Empathy can be nurtured in childhood. Or can be destroyed.
But their are people Christian or not who have gone through hell and back. And are empathetic. It’s an amazing trait to have.
But I believe the Bible doesn’t call it empathy but esteeming people above over self’s.

How did you get started in your career choice? I searched this topic because I know my calling is something of this nature but I don't know how to begin this journey.
When I look into empaths or highly sensitve persons alot of the reasoning behind it comes from the new age movement. So im not sure if this is a legit thing.
I think I am empath I was attacked early as a child went through lots of trauma that I turned numb so wow I am in need of major help I want to feel and I want to help people if I get freed

The problem is, most content online for new empaths don't get the right advice. Most always say things that begin to lead new empathic people to New Age and occult practices. And we all know that eventually brings us to the devil's trap.

It's amazing how disgusting and deceitful people can be. Case in point right in your face.
I believe earth signs Taurus Virgo and Capricorn are empaths the most. We are earth.
Both me and my son are intuitive empaths and we are both Christians we just don't tell most people.
I don't make a big deal of it. I just roll with it.
I am a Christian Empath but I feel other peoples physical pain. My father was going through some health issues & whenever I would be next to be, I would feel his physical pain. It got transfered to me.

My question is.. looking into how to hone in on empathic skills. I see a lot of people activating their “Chrakas” and connecting with the earth. Should a Christian be focused on things like that? How would a Christian hone their skills?

I believe you could be a Christian and an empath , you’d have to ignore of lot truths the gift would be telling you that conflict with religious dogma contained in Christianity though . I can’t live like that but I’m sure some empaths can .

True empaths do not believe or act like they are a savior. We are sensitive servants to humanity, calling upon the Lords direction when in the presence of people in need. I've been this way since the age of 5. It's the Lord's business not anyone elses.❤❤
