Pro Tip: if an amiibo sword is bent then dip it into hot water this makes the sword flexible and make it straight again after that dip it into cold water to make it harden again
The Xenoblade 3 collectors edition technically did come with game. What happened was the games release date got swapped with Splatoon 3 and released a couple months earlier than it was originally supposed to. However the collectors edition had already sold pre orders at that point but it wasn’t gonna be ready in time for the new earlier release date. So if you had pre ordered the collectors edition they mailed you a copy of the game and then you got the collectors edition in September when it was originally gonna release. Had it came out when it was supposed to in September it probably would’ve been just like Xenoblade 2 where they had the cartridge in the steel book with no regular release casing

I was able to get those amiibo from preorder at my local GameStop so I was lucky. I like them, especially Mio. I haven't started Xenoblade 3 yet, because I just finished Xenoblade 2 since last week and started the Torna DLC. I enjoyed Xenoblade 2 so I'm looking forward with 3 in the future until I beat Xenoblade 2 Torna DLC.

I got a notification that my noah & mio amiibo came today, already got pyra & mythra but I'm still missing Shulk, and given it's Australia, no one is really selling it unless I want to buy an overly expensive one, which I won't. Hoping one day those reprints show up and get restocked everywhere.

Luckily I have the special editions for all the Xenoblade Chronicles games, including X on Wii U.
Xenoblade 3 is my favorite of the three games in the trilogy so I had to get my hands on these at all costs and I was actually able to get mine, I per-ordered them last month to make sure I could get them 100%. Since I don't actually care what they do in game I decided to not open mine because I wanted to preserve them. I didn't notice it but on the bottom right side of the plastic (Mio's side) mine has a plastic defect I didn't notice when I was in the store so i'm a bit miffed about that. It looks like as if it got accidentally cut like when someone would open the box for these, but despite the fact it would lower the price of these if I were to ever sell them I don't ever plan on selling it so it doesn't bother me that much and you can barely notice it if at all if you're looking at them from the front. I have never owned an amiibo before either so i'm super happy to have these be my first. Edit: Also I can't help but wonder for these in particular if they didn't add a description on the back because these give you outfits for Noah and Mio that could be considered spoilers... I think they're expecting most people who have bought and played 3 to get these so the spoiler wouldn't matter much to them, but obviously Amiibo collectors or people who just want these period are going to buy them too so that's the only thing I can think of.
What are your thoughts on modding consoles, both hardware and software modding? Like the RGB mods for the NES/Famicom and Nintendo 64 or modding your Wii to backup your discs

really hope nintendo aren't done with amiibo. they're just as cool now as they were in 2014... I get that the "fad" is over but figure collection has always been a huge interest of mine and amiibo were the only way for some people to get figures of their favourites (especially for cheap, case in point with xenoblade). in general I always wanted real-life smash trophies so it's always been so cool to me that they did that.
