So I got a SPQR Macedonian pikemen in a mystery box a while back and I ended up using spare parts to make them into sci fi gribblies and they turned out pretty well. If you're wanting to put in the effort and time, you could probably turn those Praetorians into a huge, and pretty unique, Block Gang. Just might need to get some sci fi arms and guns from online/3d printed. Otherwise this round of boxes seem to have been varied in a much more standardized way. Usually one thing from the Judge Dredd system, Myticos, Hail Caesar/SPQR, Bolt Action, and a book. I'm a historical nerd esp for indigenous north and south americans so I'm jealous of the Inca haha.
bad luck sorry. i'd be crushed if this was my box, i was going to order two mystery box's. instead i went black powder big bundles. seeing this i feel i made the right call buying a full game instead of rolling the dice on mystery box's.. thank you for the post
Meh. It definitely has more value retail than what was paid for and about half of it is stuff to keep, retail is over what was paid. So a bit of a wash. The previous box there was little I could use.
@@BoardGameToday we all need paint. i play Japan in bolt action, so konflikt 47 would not be a waste, puma is a nice looking armored car looks fun to build and if i ever pick up the band of brothers core set?!? it would fit in nice. also would not mind trying out the new epic scale miniatures. with a bit of reflection, it's not as bad as it first seemed. $145 total value of could use immediately and everything else being gravy. "not bad for a $120 box"
Yup, the paint, the Bolt Action, the Konflict, Victory at Sea figure, Judge Dredd, and Armada are all keepers for me. Wish there was some BRS there but overall not bad. These boxes are great if you're really into historicals/all of Warlord's products. You definitely get more than what you paid for and what you don't keep tends to be good trade material.
