In these verses, Bhagat Kabir Ji expresses his deep devotion to his Guru (spiritual mentor), Sri #Ramanandacharya, describing it as a spiritual pilgrimage to the Gomati River. The "Yellow Robes" symbolize divine wisdom and enlightenment. Kabir Ji's exclamation "Wow! Hail!" encapsulates his admiration for his Guru's singing of Ram naam / Hari Naam.

ਹਜ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਗੋਮਤੀ ਤੀਰ ॥
हज हमारी गोमती तीर ॥
My Hajj (foremost pilgrimage) is on the banks of Gomati River;
ਜਹਾ ਬਸਹਿ ਪੀਤੰਬਰ ਪੀਰ ॥੧॥
जहा बसहि पीत्मबर पीर ॥१॥
Where dwells my master in yellow robes (Sri Ramanandacharya).
ਵਾਹੁ ਵਾਹੁ ਕਿਆ ਖੂਬੁ ਗਾਵਤਾ ਹੈ ॥
वाहु वाहु किआ खूबु गावता है ॥
Wow! Hail! How beautifully he sings.
ਨਾਰਦ ਸਾਰਦ ਕਰਹਿ ਖਵਾਸੀ ॥
नारद सारद करहि खवासी ॥
Narada (Divine musician-sage) & Sharda (Goddess) sing his praise.
ਪਾਸਿ ਬੈਠੀ ਬੀਬੀ ਕਵਲਾ ਦਾਸੀ ॥੨॥
पासि बैठी बीबी कवला दासी ॥२॥
Besides him sits Laxmi (consort Goddess of Vishnu) as maid.
ਕੰਠੇ ਮਾਲਾ ਜਿਹਵਾ ਰਾਮੁ ॥
कंठे माला जिहवा रामु ॥
My throat is a garland & on my tongue sits Rama.
ਸਹੰਸ ਨਾਮੁ ਲੈ ਲੈ ਕਰਉ ਸਲਾਮੁ ॥੩॥
सहंस नामु लै लै करउ सलामु ॥३॥
Through a thousand names (ref to Vishnu Sahasranama), I salute him.
ਕਹਤ ਕਬੀਰ ਰਾਮ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਉ ॥
कहत कबीर राम गुन गावउ ॥
Says Kabir, sing of Rama’s glory.
ਹਿੰਦੂ ਤੁਰਕ ਦੋਊ ਸਮਝਾਵਉ ॥੪॥੪॥੧੩॥
हिंदू तुरक दोऊ समझावउ ॥४॥४॥१३॥
