Great explanation. And I think it could benefit from a follow-up, explaining exactly why the series circuit provides synchronization, judging from some of the questions in the comments. If I understand it correctly, the speed of cylinder movement will be determined by cylinder 1. If it has a heavy load, it will move slowly, and the amount of oil being sent to cylinder 2 will be just enough for it to move at the same slow rate. But if cylinder 1 has a light load, it will move quickly, and more oil will be sent to cylinder 2, and it will move quickly as well.

Hi sir, I have 2 single acting cylinders, I have synchronised them in the lifting cycle by using a flow divider, how do I divide the flow in the reverse direction.

From the rodless cavity into 4 units of liquid, that from the rod cavity should be 3 units of liquid, 3 units of liquid into the second hydraulic cylinder rodless cavity that the piston should move 3/4 units ah, how to synchronize. I don't understand a little. Thank you

Whether the pressure of the rodless cavity of the first cylinder is maximum. If the pressure of each piston rod is F, the area of the rodless cavity of the piston is S. Then the pressure of the first rodless cavity is p=nF/s, and n is how many cylinders. Is that right? Thank you

Hi, nice video but flow dividers have upto 5% variation, how to cater that?

Can you Tell me with this synchronisation ckt Both cylinders can move in synchronisation irrespective of load on them? Is it right or the loads on cylinders should be Same

yes this is the basic purpose of synchronization circuit.

I tried both parallel and series connection by using a 5/2 way single acting solenoid valve to operate two pneumatic cylinders together but it doesn't work.

Of course it doesn't work. The volume on both sides of the piston is not the same! The volume on the piston rod side is smaller, so the second piston tied in series moves less.

In Second Circuit...How oil will go to 1st Cylinder R Port Rather 2nd Cylinder of C port ?? From the valve ???

Serial cylinder connection as described does not work! The volume on both sides of the piston is not the same! The volume on the piston rod side is smaller, so the second piston tied in series moves less. In this example, the piston of the second cylinder should be correspondingly smaller so that the volume on the side of the piston rod on the first cylinder is equal to the volume before the piston of the second cylinder.

That is why the bore on the first cylinder is usually slightly larger to account for this

IT's not working! You need rods on both side off cylinder. And double the size of your zylinder.
