It’s sad to see how they have not really maintained these ancient and important historical sites. These Saudi Sheikhs spend millions on their palaces, but can’t seem to find the money to preserve historical sites.

Preservation means keep it in same condition without harm
And it's not the house of Fatimaؓ bint Muhammad ﷺ

It involves: maintenance throughout the year, cleaning and care of the monument including its immediate surroundings, for example by removing leaves or garbage. Conservation, for example, can make sense to erect a roof so that the object is not exposed to weather.
In this case, even the fence erected is second class. My daughters school has a better fence. There is a cat in the monument, puddles of water, and garbage lining the street. Houses all around. I guess I would not expect anything else from Saudi princes…. Who have a MALL and seven towers not 200 meters from the Kaabah.
In this case, the daughter of the Prophet of Islam’s house is less well maintained then my own house. As a Muslim, I am ashamed.

The entire Madina during the time of prophet Muhammad PBUH has been covered by the masjid nabwei. There area many building around the Madinah that are from the time of ottomon empire preserved. This being the house of daughter of the prophet Fatimah requires more verification.

@Abdulkareem Hassan Then by your logic, why preserve the Kaaba, Masjid Nabawi, Al Aqsa and the Tombs of the Patriarchs? They're also made of bricks and stones. You pray at home, why travel all the way to pilgrimage around the Kaaba? Quran and Sunnah are first priority and the places that are associated with Islam and Islamic figures must also be preserved because it is our religious heritage. I'm not an extremist here, perhaps you should check the dictionary what extremism is. Calling holy sites in Islam not important because they're bricks and stones sounds extremist to me.
@Abdulkareem Hassan I get your point but for me, places and dwellings where the Prophets dwelt, are holy too. So Saudi Arabia has a moral and religious obligation to restore the House of Bibi Fatima because she was the daughter of our Prophet, Muhammad (PBUH), the house where she dwelt, with Ali the Lion of Allah, where Hasan and Hussayn grew up. And no I'm not Shia, I am a Muslim, Muhammad is my Prophet and Allah is My Lord.
