Hey Infernasu the ripple thrust move can really only combo extend if used on the ground, sea, water serpent can be used after you hit the person in the air once as a combo extender, and constant flux can be stopped mid way as well. Water can be good if used by the right person.

You can combo extend with the projectile just take them into the air and use it
You can guarantee basin hits if you use it by aiming straight down after uptilting.
You can also let go of Constant Flux early to use it as a combo extender cuz it has mad stun.
Blood is so op, you can do a combo and when they are almost able to use the evasive just use the ult, let the timer go down and then just detonate to start a combo again
For constant Flux u can stop holding it to stop at the 4th hit or less and not knocking back

reason why you didn’t like water is because of your play style, uptilt into dragon, then uptilt into scream then into water ripple (to be consistent you have to land then dash to catch them every time) then uptilt into basin (you can hit basin in the air as a combo extender) then uptilt into constant flux but cancel the last hit so it doesn’t hit away, then you should have another water dragon by then, make sure that when you’re up tilting, you get another m1 off when their in the air before your moves or it’s harder to hit.

m1 air combo -> look down then use “water serpent” -> m1 air combo -> waterfall basin -> m1 air combo -> constant flux. (you have have to split it into 2 different combos bc of evasives)

You can combo extend with every move except surface slash, although ripple thrust and water wheel aren’t as true as the rest
but you can use surface slash as a starter cause there's a weird spot where if you aim it above their head they flop down instead of getting knocked back

Asking this again, i doubt anyone saw my comment but, does anybody have a clue what the songs in this video are? Especially the one in the first few clips.
Water has better visuals than wind and can dish out some great damage with long combos, but to be honest, I think wind is just way more fun to play.
So far I've only played wind and water so I can't say for certain how fun thunder and insect are but I know I like wind most.
I only played with wind(main) and insect(GF acc) i agree totally about wind and i have to say, insect need Huge buffs, it doesnt have more than 2 combos and does low damage, basically, to deal a good dmg with it you need shinobus katana
Tbh to me water has the most underwhelming combos just cuz if ur good with insect ur a demon imagine seeing a good insect user vs a good water used insect would here’s why the ult is really good for starting it has about 3-4 combo extender that water doesn’t with like 2 basin and serpent

I hope you do a video on some blood demon arts cuz they are so fun to use. Reaper is easy to use, blood is pretty good but it's just not fun to use it gets boring, tamari and arrow are good too
Water actually has 2 Combo Extenders (Water Serpent, Waterfall Basin) and if you are near a wall, Constant Flux and Ripple Thrust and combo extend. Combined with your clan skill (If you have) which is Indominate Will, You have 5 Total Combo Extenders (I think Water Wheel can combo but its hard to aim so im not really counting it)
constant flux combo extends if u let go before the last hit and ripple thrust combo extends on the ground if u do 4 m1s ripple thrust then dash to them

I’ve tried to extend wheel, but you actually have *negative frames* off of wheel. Aka the enemy can hit you before you hit them.
Hold constant flux to four hits don’t do it fully so U can combo extend of it
like nezuko bda B move u dont do it fully so u extend with the 3 slash instead of 4 knocking back

There are a ton more combo you can do even though water is mostly no combo extending. Like water Serpent during the air combo and constant flux but without the ending
Also water basin can be use in an uptill to confirm as well as if u just click water wheel in the air u can dash back and carry on your combo

Wheel is a combo extender for your enemy, (not joking) ripple thrust doesn’t combo extend 50% of the time, water surface slash does NOT combo, just at all. Water also costs a TON of breathing, but you don’t really see it in the video bc i’m pretty sure he has kamado.
When you use constant flux you can stop holding at the last hit, it won't knockback, stun is enough for you to miss the last hit and continue your combo with m1s

infernasu idk if anyone told you this but all skills except x and z are combo extenders
The nezuko grab is actually iffy asf if u see it miss it does a grab to the air but for some reason the dash animation gets cancelled and ye u just get grabbed out of nowhere

I absolutely despise facing Water Wheel with every cell of my body. Good luck blocking that shit, so the only chance you have is to interrupt them.
Also you can ladder with water basin and serpent you just have to time serpent and not aim directly on opponent like right next to them

Honestly waters combos are insane if done right, air combo into indomitable will into another wit combo into water serpent (facing downwards) into another air combo into waterfall basin (facing downwards) into another air combo into constant flux, obviously they can escape that but you can almost always have something to combo with
wow man, do you know the combo you just gave is very good? but do you know what the water problem is? THAT IS NEARLY ONE WAY TO OPEN THE MOST ACCURATE COMBO. if they think to open the combo with skill B then that skill is almost impossible to hit for us to start
buddy buddy look... basin cant really combo extend cause they ragdoll to far way. also u make water sound really good. its not. i have like 90 ranked wins with water i am a hashira and i can officially say that water is the most skilled based art in the game. pretty much the hardest art to use because
its bad in neutral. Water serpet is a medium speed projectile that is super easy to block (compared to blood shot.)
and water fall basin is super easy to dodge or even miss and very punishing when miss used.
water wheel doesnt even combo extend because the person gets up to fast (compared to reaper bda)
constant flux is unusable in neutral because its not a active hit box so people can
just dash m1 and cancel YOUR ULT.
ripple thrust doesnt really combo extend (but it can if they dont ragdoll to far if your are lucky) and comes out to slow in my opinion

@@Hachi0C i totally agree bro water is one of the best fighting style for farming in the game but in terms of pvp i find it pretty bad i hope the developers can remove ripple thrust skill as it's almost impossible extend combo and the problem is it takes too much breath to use and they should change that skill to dead calm because i hope dead calm skill can be AOE skill that is wide enough to open combo and stun time for us to start a combo complete combo that's my opinion
when you do ur m1 combo do water suface slash then water serpant then if the player is near you use water wheel then use a up combo and use constant flux
