Oh my gosh! hahahah, Im Ukrainian background and grew up in Toronto with Italians exactly like this! my dads best friend was Italian, he was like my uncle and identical to your dad, hilarious, those were the best days. We all grew up with families like this.
let me tell you somethin, I’m 73 now and I miss hearing the Italian accent. My mother and father spoke Italian in the house to each other but they wouldn’t teach my brother and my sister and I because they didn’t want us to know what they’re talking about. I wish they did teach us. When I hear these podcasts with you and your father in them, it puts a big smile on my face, and I listen to every word. I love your standup comedy, Anthony.
I'm Latino Australian, parents from Uruguay, we have lots of Italian culture mixed in ours, food included, my grandmother speaks fluent Italian and we grew up with a strong culture here, you guys remind me of us so much, my father is exactly like El don Tony, accent the same haha, I love watching you guys because it reminds me of growing up here in Australia as a Latino, we love Italians because our culture is so similar, my bloody name is Cesar haha, keep it up guys, love the pod, much love from Australia 🦘
I am Mexican and there are a lot of things I can relate to. From the itchy palms and ringing in the ears to the joke about the woman drowning. Great interview.
Oh my gosh, so much is totally my dad! Mine is 94 🙏🏼 Literally said to me a couple years ago when I got him to come to my oldest daughter play one of her senior year volleyball games, “why’s she on the bench, I didn’t come here to watch other people’s kids play”… the looking for a companion… having to clarify questions… like all of it 😂
I love Anthony's dad❣️My parents both came from Italy, and have passed. But listening to him bring me back.To great days with the whole famiglia!!You guys are awesome, just recently found your channel, and my ppl!!Keep up the good work!!😊🇮🇹🇱🇷🇮🇹
These guys are so funny, the son reminds me of Joe avati ,& his father speaks a bit like my father used to.adding the h to words & the way he described things.great interview. ❤
i have a Spanish surname and we could be familia here 🤌🏼💯 im Hispanic of Honduran origins and Spain from Latineuropa conquered us just like they conquered Sicilia along with all areas of Latinoamerica at one time too que viva la cultura de raíces Latin 🇲🇽🇬🇹🇸🇻🇭🇳🇳🇮🇨🇷🇵🇦🇨🇴🇨🇺🇵🇷🇩🇴❤️🇪🇸🇮🇹🇵🇹🇲🇹🇦🇩
Don't give the haters the attention that they are seeking! Something is wrong in their life. Don't make their problems yours. I saw you in person & I would love to see you again! I mentioned to Roccothecomic that he should get in touch with you about doing something together. That would be a good show, too! Hope to see you in person again soon! Have fun on tour, Anthony! ❤❤ Your father is adorable! ❤❤
Hi Guys. Great content keep it up !.. Question -.Thinking of coming up to Bensonhurst - What would you say are the street boundaries of the Little Italy area... Your channel always brings back great memories of growing up in South Philly. Thanks so much...
Try having a Mexican mother Inlaw that lives with us!! I would love if she lived down the street because she drives me freaking crazy almost everyday!!! When she doesn't have her brandy she's a saint and awesome but she likes to drink e and j and it turns her into the wicked witch of Colima!!
33:08 I doubt that very much just because bullying is real when you’re a kid so you suppress the idea of being suppressed because you’re culturally shocked that anyone would question your meal.
I doesn’t matter if he had 20% Greek he said it him self BORN AND RAISED IN ITALY, I am French but this American views on identity piss me off so much.
Love the show but this guest is so annoying I couldn't watch it all. How his father has the patience to deal with him criticizing every word he says I have no idea. After he told the story about the lady with the tickets and made her sit in the back I just couldn't do it anymore. I love my people but this guy is a jerk.
I couldn’t disagree more. I’ve never heard of him nor this podcast. I was washing dishes when the cast I was listening to, initially, ended. With the intention of changing the channel once I had dishes wrapped up, I listen. The son’s banter is what kept me sticking around through the whole episode. Now I’m looking for more of his content to watch. How can you not get a kick out of it 😂!
Thank you all for tuning in all 2023. 2024 is going to be special
Anthony Roda is so funny. Reminds me of my family. I love this guy. You can tell his father is very proud of him.

Another great podcast and as a Portuguese Anthony could be right with the bacalhau 😅 except I bowed and don’t smell like it 😂. Happy New Years guys! ❤
