Infinity was once an Autobot under the name of A-113, who eventually departed after discovering time travel, and becoming obsessed with keeping a specific universe in order, by eliminating individuals who disrupt it. He's become extremely perfectionist, ruthless, wishes to no longer identify with any of the Cybertronian factions, instead dedicates his existence to creating the perfect universe, even if it takes all eternity to complete.
