Now go look in the mirror and check the angle of your sternum.
So, the angle of the bench will change based on that. It is going to vary between individuals. If you have a very steep angle to your sternum, you may need a slight incline to achieve a flat press.

The best bench press is: slight incline (the first click up from flat), with dumbbells. 4 working sets of heavy, 4-8 reps

      It's the best :
      - for you,
      - and until it's not the best anymore (when your body adapts to this rep range)
So respectfully no, not the best, every bench press has some value and something unique to it 😄

4 sets is arbitrary. All depends on your overall regimen and fitness goals.

That's what I do, dumbbells with a 15° incline. It feels so much more comfortable than a flat bench.

So what's the best angle to combine chest and shoulders, I have a tough time doing shoulder presses and do mostly work on the 3 heads (lateral, front and rear). As far chest only incline press.
    Thanks

30-45 degrees is the best angle to get an even emphasis

But the problem is that you have to arch. Shoulders back and down and that raises the torso. So the flat is actually a decline a small incline is flat and a high incline is actual incline. And also when you do ohp with a barbell your upper chest is recruited anyway and we all want strong developed delts and upper chest.

You don't really need much arch for hypertrophy, Sheer strength training is where the arch comes in.
