That's smart for Hershey to limit the amount of people in the wave pool. They can be really dangerous when they're super crowded. I went to an amusement park last year and the weather was about 93° so of course the wave pool was crowded! However, bc there were so many people, there were also alot of drowning incidents. The life guards had to jump in what seemed every 10 minutes or so to save someone.
I work there and you get a lot of perks such as get in the park free, 2 free tickets every pay, 20% employee discount, employee only nights etc! Also there is a referral bonus of 250$
Body slides is a definitely no but possibly tubes slides and the mat racer to allow it. If not most parks allow you to hold it however I’m unsure of Hersheypark’s policies
It was Memorial Day but the waterpark gets busy every day with lines over a half an hour for most slides. Honestly my best solution is hope for a day that it’s cloudy and drizzling but still warm
The entire park in general gets too crowded but the waterpark is beyond anything that I would consider enjoyable on busy day like the day we filmed. Both my fiancé and I commented how happy we were just walking through and even then it felt unbearably crowded to do that. They desperately need to increase the size of the waterpark by removing tidal force and relocating wild mouse.
@@TheCoasterSpot they need to do that and add more slides so the lines don’t get too long. The two new ones are always at an hour + the main tower is around 30+ and even the giant water play structure slide lines are long
Thank you for this! I’m going in the summer if my sister grows one more inch
My pleasure

I am going next week thank you!!! 😃😃😃
My pleasure
I've seen lines for a lazy river every now and then but this is the first time I've seen one for a wave pool.
I think it had a lot to do with East Coast Waterworks being closed. Either way the water park needs to expand its always been too small
damn i’ve seen this at many places. it’s because of the capacity
I love waterpark

I wish they bring a ride like roller soaker back in the boardwalk
Hello I know this is a late comment but in your opinion what ride do u think is the best at the water park Im going in a few weeks
Breakers edge water edge, and white cap racers.
@@TheCoasterSpot thank you I will make sure to go on those ones first when I arrive there
I went to Hershey waterpark before🎉
Like the concept
Hello! I was wondering if you know,if it's ok to wear water shoes on any waterslides? Or certain ones..

East Coast Waterworks is still amazing.
That pool looks very filled up with some people it looks kind of crowded in there.
Trying to figure out how busy the water park will be. What day did you shoot this video? Was it a weekday or weekend? Hope you reply. Thanks.

@@TheCoasterSpot Thanks!
Well I guess you can say 2022's SML: Jeffy's Swimming Pool Brought Me Here.
What day of the week did you guys go ?
Monday but it was a holiday
Is there water park better than dorneys?
I say so at this point…but it is smaller and get stupidly crowded. Dorney’s does too but Hershey’s seems packed everyday
Haven’t been to Dorney since I was a boy but I hear Hershey has the better rides from what I’m hearing
Yeah Hersheypark is one of the best amusement, parks in the country if not the world
I hate coming here bc of how crowded it gets here. Slides are solid tho
