  • A day hike on the Sutallee Trail at Boling Park in Canton Georgia. The loop was completed following the Yellow, Purple, Un-Blazed, and White trail for a total of 5.5 miles. Parking for the trail is at Boling Park located directly behind Cherokee High School. Follow the gravel path all the way to the back of the park to reach the trail head. The trail offers a woodland walk with mild inclines, small waterfalls, stream crossings, and views of the Etowah River. I followed the map on the Alltrails.com site since this trail system does not have a map at the trail head or on the trails.

Look at the size o' them leaves at 1:41 - their bodacious! In the Fall, they're all over the ground.

I used to run cross country races on this trail in high school, Wodstock H.S., class of 2009 👍

I would have needed a GPS to find my way around, so many different trails and they go on for miles.

I have been on this trail since 1983 (camping, hiking, etc) I have never herd anyone call it the "Sutallee Trail", where did you hear this name? It has always been called the Etowah Trail since my time.

AllTrails.com, atlantaoutdoorclub.com, mountaingoatadventures.com. Google it, there’s several others that list it as The Sutallee Trail. I would agree that Etowah Trail seems more accurate it doesn’t seem that’s what it’s called anymore.
