When I was little, my hair was light blonde, but it started to darken as I got older. My mom didn't like that. She got this leave-in bleach stuff and sprayed some on every day. It didn't take long for my hair to start breaking off. 😢
My local Greatclips salon can NOT deal with my ethnic italian curly hair. The last time I went there (in 2021) the stylist ripped a bunch of it out while combing and cutting it. She apparently did not know how to handle curly hair. Also she had a bad cold which of course she passed her germs to me. I called the manager and complained about my experience afterward and all I got were coupons for 2 free haircuts which I gave away. I WILL NEVER GO TO GREAT CLIPS AGAIN 🤬🤬🤬
My SIL convinced me to get my haircut by her hairdresser. I was told that she wouldn't cut more than I wanted cut. That was a lie. I have naturally curly hair, and the woman didn't know how to cut curly hair. The lady put my hair into a French braid after cutting it. I didn't see a mirror until I got home. When I unbraided my hair and saw how much she cut off, and how uneven it was, I was mad. It caused problems between me and my SIL. Of course my brother had to get involved. Hair doesn't grow as fast when you are older.
I had an experienced hair stylist that I went to for years. About 10 years ago she gapped it all up. Had to get it cut short. I never went back. Was so embarrassing. I let it grow out and now I cut it myself. I looked online and figured out how to do it. I have long hair. I also started cutting my Moms short hair.
@ that’s fine I get my hair cut at Walmart they did a pretty good job on mine but I’m sorry for your experience my sister she had a similar situation like that but it wasn’t at a barber shop it was done by a family member and let’s just say my mom and my sister wasn’t happy about that my mom use to cut my hair when I was younger she did good but yeah I go to Walmart
Clearly LOTS of people can’t put the right guide on their clippers! AND you have to strip your natural color to almost white to get most of these colors right!
Last haircut the stylist apparently didn’t understand anything I told her. My top is still long enough to get in my eyes, which I specifically said I didn’t want. Good thing I wear hats most of the time so I can just shove the mop underneath them so I can still see

I watched videos on cutting my own hair. I did good. My hair is halfway down my back and I have bangs. I figured it out. I also cut my husbands with a half on the shaver. He is almost bald. He still feels like he has hair and it looks neat and clean.

Cut my hair, looked like it had been on fire and put out with a shovel , unfortunately at 70 it does take a long time to recover

I go to Walmart to get my hair cut I don’t do it myself and I don’t trust anybody else with my hair except experienced hair stylist
