- Nanny and Moose followed their plan of a simple Day with a Short outing …then to Trader Joe’s to pick out goodies for a quiet supper at home. A small mishap happened but didn’t ruin their day …..which ended with chocolate cake and ice cream in bed celebrating thei long married life and many blessings.❤️

When my mom got to the stage in her life where she fell and couldn't get up, I had an inflatable mattress that I rolled her onto, inflated it and then she could manage to get her legs under her to stand and get on her rollator. You might consider that. My mom and dad had 62 years together. Congrats!💜💜

What a perfect and so romantic day!! The King Richard Antique Mall looked like a dream come true! The painting had some special lovely "vibes" -The cheese section at Trader Joes looked wonderfull. -Specially the soft Brie!!!! Yum! You both looked so very happy!!

I asked Alexa how far away Whittier was from Temecula and she said it was 76 miles by car. So that might be a nice road trip sometime. Your chandelier is gorgeous. We don't have any thrift stores where I live much less a place like this. If we had a place like this, I wouldn't have any money left, it is fabulous! Happy Anniversary and thank you so much for including us in your celebration. Love how you celebrated and the idea of staying home. Going out lost its appeal for me a long time ago, it just isn't fun anymore for a lot of reasons. You look absolutely stunning, those colors are beautiful on you. I don't know how you have the time and energy to post so many videos. I enjoy all of them and never miss a one. I love the variety and not knowing what to expect, that's what makes you so interesting I think. Again, Happy Anniversary to you and Moosie❤❤❤❤

Happy Anniversary! Here's to many more years. What a fun day. That was a great antique mall to visit. I like how Moose can manuver himself around, looking at books, etc. Sorry about his fall. At least he didn't end up with an anniversary ER visit. A little drama for the day always makes things more interesting I say. Glad he got off with just a couple of scrapes. Anyway, the food from Trader Joe's looked amazing. I noticed the bag of potstickers at the checkout. Now I'm craving some Trader Joe's goodies. You will be able to celebrate all week long with the selection of gourmet treats. Love the little chocolate grenache cake. Just right, so romantic. Can't wait to see the beautiful chandelier when you get it lit up. Sounds lovely. The sunflowers were indeed beautiful for your daughter. Trader Joe's has all of those great bouquets when you walk in the entrance. It really is a nice store. I think that they purchase a good wine in bulk so they can offer to their customers at a low price. Good for them to do. Thank you for sharing your special day with us. What a fun and wonderful anniversary Nanny and Moose. The antique store brings back memories. My husband and I used to spend hours there. You just cannot see everything in one visit. Then Trader Joe’s. The cheeses and wines are the best, not to mention the produce and flowers. Oh how I miss those days. I am so glad that Moose was not badly hurt when he fell. Yes, Sharon…Moose’s fall was another jolt that is a real reminder of how careful he has to be…and the truth is …that he IS so cautious and afraid that he doesn’t do much moving because of this fear…it’s a catch 22! Blessings and love to you, too.❤️🙏

I have those 70’s pics of the cute boy and girl but they haven’t gone in my kitschy kitchen or my antique booth yet. I’m so sorry Moose fell but I love how both of you just get through these things and keep going. You don’t know how inspiring that is for so many of us. I found out in March I have alpha one and it killed my father. I only have one defective gene so at this point I have a better chance at a more normal life but it will still have challenges.
