Wow. I just got chills all over when you said that about the Mac truck running over my heart, and I have asked for this "love" my entire life. Now that he has healed & is doing everything to make our relationship wonderful, like I wish it had been from the beginning. But when I pulled back & made the decision to walk away no matter how bad it hurt. Before I had a chance to tell him he told me I'm sorry and I do love you. So now he is all in & I'm reserved because I'm waiting for the Mac truck to run over my heart one last time. So I feel guilty because I can't let myself love him completely again. 😢

This resonated. I don’t wish for my past person to be sad or hurting but also know they are unable or do not see a need to change their ways. So the hurts and the being used and kicked out over and over will keep happening and only devalue and hurt them further. My past person is experiencing karma for the treatment of me with a third party/parties, but I don’t want them to hurt or be sad going forward. Just want everyone to heal fully and move on and forget the toxic nightmare of our relationship. Reconciliation isn’t an option, not with what I know about “the list” like you mentioned, Mariah.
