Israel has very little strategic depth, in case of imminent war, it will try to bring the war in enemies territory.
Russia is the opposite: very vast strategic depth. It can cede territories until the enemy spreads too far and too thin. Israel can't afford to cede even 1 km of territory.
Far easier for russia to cede some of kursk when the obblast of kursk is similar size to Belgium. I don't think that's a fair comparison

What differs from former israeli invasions of Lebanon is that this time Israel has weakened the command structures of Hizbollah and has developed a notable drone-capacity. One would though imagine that Hizbollah, being allied with Iran, itself has some drone capacity.
Your statement is true, however don't forget that the Israeli military is also bogged down in Gaza where it has lost dozen of vehicles and spent a significant amount of its ordnance.
