Bobby quick question, Why do you use a benelli over the A400. I love benellis and think they're the best but for some reason i see a lot of people switching to the beretta A400. What is your thoughts?

Use a rebar post and wield the stand to it. Get it up in the air.

I pit one on a tall pole ..it seemed to work a little better.
To help with the heat on the tat, get you some Magellan long sleeve fishing (camo) shirts. My summer time go to. Also my initial layer in the winter. 👍

You set it up to fail. Everyone knows they have to be up in the air to work. I have 3 on 3 foot poles with zero issues. You screwed up bobby boy, not the decoy.

You have to oil the shaft and make sure the wings are evenly set

I made a couple with wire to fit on pigeon and wigeon decoys. They loop around the neck and are held with elsastic cord around the body. They have outriggers that i hang vertical 3" x 4" weighted on the bottom, spinners on. The duck ones are higher to avoid catching the water and are black one side and grey the other. The pigeons are grey and white. These work a treat and move with the slightest wind. They are fastened on with fishing quick release swivels so the don't come unhooked and blown away.
I feel your frustration with those wind, driven decoys, I’ve had a few of them and tried everything from angling them to adding some lubricant where the bar slides through the decoys so there’s less friction, but they never work consistently.
I use them at 3-4 feet off the ground but only for doves. Use remote control Mojos for ducks and geese.
Turn the wings so there uneven and it should always catch the wind i use lots of them in nz for ducks and pigeons
I use one on longer fiber glass stake during dove season. Works well for me but they do stop spinning at times for sure.
Put some carbon on it, used to use it for box car's to make the axle smoother.
I've never had one work for me no matter what I've done to try and get it too.

Use a longer stake it’ll help and use a tighter fitting stake
