Thank you for all of your videos Court. I just received my Rook about a week and a half ago and for the first time I was able to get out and ride with my husband for a 40 mile ride! I would have NEVER have been able to do that before I found your videos.

That's wonderful, I'm so glad the two of you are enjoying some time outside together! The Surface 604 ebikes are some of my favorites, great people at the company too. I really appreciate your positive words here :)

I really like your reviews and the way you add commentary of your own experience regarding individual features. Brilliant review.

Thanks to you keeping me excited about electric bicycles I'm currently shopping for my 3rd one. Thanks for all you do. This one looks really good for the price. I was momentarily confused when I clicked your link to their website until I realized that price is shown in Canadian dollars. Thanks for mentioning that Amp Brothers carries it.

I really like your reviews and the way you add comments from your experience with e-bikes. I have been looking into e-bikes only recently. When you said this e-bike was made in Montreal, Quebec, Canada I almost fell of my chair. I live close to Montreal. All I could find before were e-bikes made in the USA. With the money exchange they get pretty pricey. Thank you for this review.

Great review again! that place looks really, really, really desertic! Say Court, what were you doing in Phoenix? what do you do with the bike after the review? why not have it ship to your home in Denver?

Great video. Only 50 mins for you to assemble. Good job Court. Probably would have took me 5 hours. Lol.

Ha! Yeah, I took my time and tried to straighten the fenders and stuff, so it would perform quietly and represent the company well. It's not so bad if you have the screwdriver, a nicer Allen key, and a wrench ;)

I agree with Court; this looks like a good buy if you' re under 220 pds. I love it , but I know I'm too damn big for it.

G'day mate. I loved your review of the super 73 and I must say I'm a little disappointed about their service. I pre ordered 2 bikes in july last year for delivery this January. Then it shifted to February and now I have heard from another source that it will be end of may ! !!!!!!! But not from them as I have sent 6 emails over a period of time with no reply! I just thought people should know!

Rarely do you find any half way decent brake levers that cannot be adjusted for smaller or larger hands. Just look real close. You do some times lose this feature as the space is used for cut off magnets.
I am very slowly warming to the fact not everyone needs the hill climbing range of a mid-drive. This thing makes a lot more sense than most I have seen.

Great review as always. I wonder how "walk with me" works when climbing stairs.

    • @ElectricBikeReview
      @ElectricBikeReview  6 років тому +2

Yeah, it might have been a poor example, I think walk mode has an auto shutoff feature on some bikes and it can be difficult to hold the button and push a bike... but I have definitely used it (and throttles) to help climb stairs on occasion. The Specialized Turbo Vado is one example where I got it on film: electricbikereview.com/specialized/turbo-vado-6-0/

I have used it to help me climb stairs for storage on different bikes, but I can't believe the brand would be much different.

Very nice bike if you are under 200 lbs. If you get close to the 250 lb limit you will break spokes as the 700 x 38 mm tires are too small and there are no shocks on the seat or rear wheel

Bike looks nice, good tires. motor behind and battery in the middle, all good. Kick stand should be more to the back of the frame. Probably you can buy another. I am not a big fan of luggage racks at the front, they are to high. I can hang 2 waterproof bags on a much lower point. The tires are the same as I have on my Dutch bike, after 8.000 km the rear tire I replaced with the red Schwalbe tire, little stronger. But all in all I like this bike, sitting position can be upright. Price very good.I do not know what the quality from the motor or battery is.

This bike IS A DISASTER! The company customer service is horrible. The battery and charger have failed when following the manufacturer's exact instructions for use and storage. The bike build quality is so bad that the NYC dealer has stopped carrying the brand. My advice is as good as the design and concept is if you can't get good customer service and also a great warrantee. Do not buy this bike. I have a 2000 dollar piece of junk.

Don't buy a 700c ebike to ride in Montreal you're gonna get these snakebite flat tubes he's talking about all the time. I switched to mountain bike tires and they do a great job absorbing shocks with the extra air volume and lower air pressure.

Good combination for a Utility E-bike, Except the bell, That is operated from the break lever. People do not like to be dinged from be hind, Or for no reason. I would have to disconet, And add my racering bell, Ding Ding. The step through frame option would be my choice, A Granny bike with a moter on, For the racering man, Yes indeed I was Sir, With shaven legs, And a deep sun-tan I made my way through the heat and spray, On a head butting elbow jabbing massed start race, And my pore old Mum would be there watching. I'm 25 years old mom, I can look after my self. As I sit there dabbing at scrapes and bruises across my pain racked body, ) Alay Alay Grimpure, In the, Grand Tour of, Lay Back-Aly's. Sacrea-Bler.

I will have to suggest to race organizers, That there should be a, blue-jersey for pain and suffering. Tuet Swee, Mona Me.

DON'T use a knife to cut zip ties, use a wire cutter.
