A two mile tear in the Earth near Eloy

It is wide, deep, dusty, almost two miles long, and an internet sensation. We're talking about a tear in the Earth near Eloy, between Tucson and Phoenix. Drone video of what geologists call a fissure got more than 600 thousand views after the Arizona Geological Survey put it on UA-cam

There's plenty of those in that area just across the freeway from Picacho Peak. I saw them many years ago when I was a teenager.

I was born in Eloy 1963 I must have been around 12 years old between the cemetery and newman peak we saw one there
