QOTD: My personal favorite "strategy" of yours was when you were fighting against a curselax with a Kecleon and used skillswap to swap protean to the snorlax before it could use curse. It turned into a ghost type which changed the effect of curse and Snorlax halfed it's HP but the best part was that it targeted itself and thus took the curse damage and lost 3/4 of it's hp in one turn without being attacked.
It's funny how the trainer got traumatized to a male Gardevoir and lost to it. I wouldn't be. I would be impressed losing to a male Gardevoir. It teaches me not to underestimate femboy power.
@@anierpwns That's the point. But how would anyone know before -1 Braviary outsped neutral speed TTar? TL;DR Weedle's team, despite pointless advocates, still loses to a decent TTar, and not just a bit, utterly loses. That team doesn't even have a backup like the Cofagrigus Diggersby team or others. That one is literally full gimmick. edit: adding emojis to your reply doesn't make it more quirky nor brilliant. It just makes it more cringe.
QOTD: Honestly just every time you just use an extremely underused pokemon like aurorus, beeheeylem or dedenne. Although for a more specific one, I really enjoyed your assist team with delcatty
And their partner in crime, the videos where you think Weedle has a backup gimmick but actually their arrogant smack-talking opponent falls for the same thing twice
QOTD: the venom drench defiant strat with braviary. The whole set up was so well thought out and specific I loved it. Close second is the mold breaker electrify with lightning rod pikachu.
Your personal favorite strat to me is that metronome Grimmsnarl set where you came back so hard. But your ultimate speed control was also wild with all the synergy you come up with. I have so much respect for your team ideas, I could never be as creative as you are. Thanks for the vid themperor weedle
QOTD: The Venom Drench strat with Braviary and Qwilfish was amazing! I remember being so shocked by it! But all of your strats have impressed me at some point of watching through them, and I revisit those videos frequently for my own team ideas!
QOTD: The ultimate speed control, Zeraora + toxtricity, and the assist delcatty strat. Though to be honest, I'm down bad for any of your strategies as they never fail to be creative, hilarious, and fun to see in action!
QOTD I have three personal favorites: Reciever Passimian/Power of Alchemy Alolan Muk, Weakness policy Zen Mode Darmanitan and the mosy favorite of mine is Mega Banette skill swap with Azu or Togetic, it was pretty funny and is a pretty well thought out strat! I love all your strats tho, you know how to make almost every team a meme.
Not only that, Gardevoir keeps the Fairy-typing after evolving from Kirlia. Gardevoir is so much better than Gallade. Gallade only appears in the Pokemon games just to capitalize on the success of male Gardevoir. No matter how girly Gardevoir looks, I will use Gardevoir as a male. It's too cute and beautiful to resist using Gardevoir as a male.
QOTD: Your Electrify video will still be one of my favs. Such a good strat but the serene grace skill swap Chansey and Power spot Stonjourner is so alpha 3k IQ brained that I still go back to watch it.
Weedle I'm always impressed with your strats that it's hard to pick one. I often rewatch old videos because they're so clever. So I'm going with shell trap turtonator!
The mega launcher kyogre vgc team was my favorite since clawitzer is one of my favorite and you made it work so well as support and the florges was so extra
QOTD: I really loved your Wonder guard and Prankster After me strategies. To be honest I dived into competitive battles because of you and your brilliant ideas for battles. Thank you for making such a great content, I love all your videos
QOTD: Ooh...it's tied between the Round team and Shell Trap Turtonator strats. I just really love the way you can take these concepts and use them in doubles format, it's so fun for me to watch. Keep up the great work Weedle!
QOTD: My favorite strat was probably the Rototiller team from Ultra Sun/Moon. Ludicolo is one of my favorite mons of all time and seeing it used in an underutilized way like that was fantastic.
QOTD: the electrify strat with Boltund and Gmax Pikachu I remember I battled you on Showdown when you were using that team, and I kept losing! Everyone in the chat was like "omg weedle is here", and I'm like "who is even Weedle", then I discovered your videos and became a fan. So that strat will always have a place in my heart.
Hey weedle lysm hope youre having more fun with bdsp than ss. I just discovered your channel and am literally watching every single usum wifi battle. Your personality is just great and I cant wait to see more content
I've been subbed for a really long time because you're the pokemon queen, but what made me hit the bell and start liking all your videos was probably the Alolan Persian Assist set. SUPER creative one. I love your channel for that content, the really creative teams that utilize strategies only a genius could think of. I like that you dgaf about the meta and just play to have fun with all the possibilities that can be tried out in such a mechanic diverse game such as pokemon. This team though is definitely the GOAT and my favorite of yours that you made. Keep up the great work, and also, I'd probably watch any content you make just because you're funny and I love your editing style.
The Electrify + Lightningrod and Sun + Harvest combos absolutely blew my mind! Also LGBTeam made me lose it (because my current BDSP team is 4/6 of yours lol)
QOTD: I love all of your strats but the electrify heliolisk + mega sceptile one is amazing, seeing uber pokemons getting bodied by non ubers is always a treat
Loved that last battle and that Simple setup was beautiful after taking that Toxic Orb. Totally subscribed to you again because I didn’t realize I didn’t subscribe to you on this account and now main account, and was just catching up from vids I missed. Love your Scarlet and Violet videos and your meme teams. Keep up the good work, yo! Don’t let your memes be dreams! Take care of yourself, Weedle!
That video involving the A. Persian trolling U-Turn users is an absolute 10/10, big fan of that strategy. I suppose that’s my answer for QOTD! addendum: also you’ve got a SWSHera battle video involving a Parasect doing really well, that was a lot of fun!
I've never been here this early before, but man I was happy to see this 😁 Honestly, I love the simple beam trace gardevoir strategy, no matter how much you do it!
I've watched all your videos multiple times, but one that always brings me back is that PU Wi-FI battle where you had Lightningrod Seaking against a Rotom-Frost that hit eight Blizzards and three freezes.
Your Delcatty/Alolan-Persian Assist sweep videos are some of my favorites! I also really liked the Entrainment Stantler strat from your Christmas themed video! I like everything you put out though tbqh lol
I don't remember the strategy, I don't even play competitive Pokemon but I like your videos, your voice is pleasant, good editing and 200iq strategies making fellas go mad
QOTD: Endure weakness policy Escavalier, the video without the commentary was one of my first videos I saw of yours and the rest is history, ever since you've became my most favourite content creator on here
qotd: it's not actually my fav cuz every lil strategy you come up with never fails to amaze me, but my god... the round team? that was so next level, the way that team plagued showdown for almost two months? Amazing as always. Tbh it’s ur Linoone and Gardevior set up that had me sub to ur channel. Love ur content. Totally should play Unite or Showdown sometime with u. Maybe even lose a couple of Wi-Fi battles on Arceus or what not lol. Ur amazing.
your gardevoir trace strats have alway been my favorite since i love gardevoir! i think the one that stands out the most was gardevoir utilizing harvest and substitute to set up. really genius! i dont plan on playing the new game but hope it’s fun!! love your videos, hope youre doing well
I have 2 1.Role play Latias was one of my favs since I like Latias and Contrary 2. Contrary Sweet Scent since I like evasion. Both of these strats were around Ultra Sun and Moon so basically when I found your channel :>
Ooo favourite strategy was probably the Simple Swoobat memes, thise are the vids I remember that made me subscribe. And any time you use less common mons. I like seeing them get their moment to shine. For Legends Arceus, I picked Oshawott because it's my favourite of the three
QOTD: Wow what a nostalgic question. The first video I saw from you was the one vs an Uber noob using voice chat that was posted in a random /vp/ thread on 4chan. It was funny, but what made me stay was the PU vs Anything Goes. It made me reconsider Pokemon battling after seeing that Focus Sash Houndoom not only Counter that Rayquaza into oblivion, but switch into Groudon for a Destiny Bond. I genuinely never considered a set like that before. I subscribed almost 5 years ago and haven't been disappointed since with different strategies from Assist to Soak+Ion Deluge to your Toxapex getting smoked by Flower Gift Cherrim only to use it yourself in a later video. Thank you for your videos. You are an amazing battler and editor.
Honestly any team you run for doubles is entertaining as hell to watch. You always seem to have an interesting twist with your team or make good use of pokemon that aren't FOTM. Even then, your commentary and how you break down what you're doing and why, is why I watch your videos. For the second question: I don't own a switch sadly, but I'm slowly setting aside money to grab one at some point (or a new graphics card, if crypto garbage ever dies and makes them affordable)
I can't remember the first one, I guess it might have been Simple Gardevoir. What I do remember, is how I was hooked after watching more vids, so much creativity and funny editing :D
Favorite strat for single battles: the zoroark illusion bluff with gliscor! Favorite strat for doubles/VGC: a tie between the SurfShark team and physical ninetales + cherrim! I am always a fan of seeing underrated pokemon or using pokemon in a different way to “standard” sets. It really shows off your creativity with teambuilding Weedle!
Snatch was the best overall strat and why I subscribed. That single best moment was the time you swapped color change onto a snorlax, made it ghost type, as it used ghost type curse. That was hilarious.
my favorite strategy u used was the one with the team that used Round, i thought that was so genius it made me so shook i actually tested the team, love ur content
qotd 1: i think my favorite strategy of yours is the toxic orb braviary, the weird item choices that actually worked and the precise use of certain niche moves made the strategy so cool to me. also that fling flame orb into drifblim to proc weakness policy and flare boost at the same was also cool. qotd 2: probably piplup because i hate decidueye's redesign
QOTD: the first time I saw your Gardevoir Trace simple beam salac berry set, I was mindblown. Then the trace harvest set one upped it :D you are a genius at coming up with completely unheard of Pokémon teams and that’s what makes you special. Love you weedle
QOTD: I really liked the team you used during your Showdown randomizer video; felt like you really put a bunch of individually not super-impressive 'mons together in a way that was really smart. Now that *sounds* like a lot of your teams, yes, BUT this team was random, so that was big brain time. And you even made good use of some 'mons I would have called dead weight on the team, like Mold Breaker Dmax Throh to bypass Contrary and still boost allies' stats. A+
Most definitely my favorite strategy was your Beat Up team. I went through SwSh with the starter and 5 pokemon you find on the first route, and I optimized that team for Beat Up because of thay video.
QotD: I wouldn't call this a strat rather than coincidence, but I wanna mention it anyways because it was crazy when you did it. I remember you once got a snorlax trying to use Curse to setup but changed it's typing to Ghost with Trick or Treat. It not only used half of it's HP to inflict a Ghost curse, but also targeted itself with a curse lowering it's HP to only 1/4th and ruining it's possibility to setup at all.
QOTD : I love watching you execute pretty much any strategy... But the TeaTime Alolan Exeggutor, and Round with Accelgor, Primarina, Sylveon, Charjabug vids are really neat! Oh, and Shell Trap Turtonator.. and Misty Explosion Azu + Receiver Passimian. I did really like when you abused Soul Heart with Magearna in VGC too... Wow, so many incredible strategies.. If I had to pick just one then probably the Round team! Manipulating action speed with the unique Round mechanic is so cool to see. Having Sylveon be able to outspeed and one-shot Dragapult is 👌
This was personally my favorite set: especially seeing all the rage from salty players trying to school you and insist that "trace, calm mind, draining kiss gardevoir is not a set." Absolutely amazing.
QOTD: Assist Delcatty drawing a Normalize boosted V-Create was the thing that made me subscribe, that shit was hilarious. And just generally I enjoy your VGC and Showdown videos especially when you explain what your line of thinking and strategies are, you come up with some very refreshing and unique techs imho and it's lovely to see them at work.
Your simple beam + Gardevoir strat is also my favourite :-) Gardevoir is one of my favourite Pokémon but I NEVER considered that strat. Now I use it whenever I can.
Honestly I can't remember which strat. I've been watching your content for quite a while and look forward to new stuff all the time. I love the Christmas magic freeze hax vid and the bdsp rattled monster goddess Clamperl
honestly i don't know anything about pokemon battles but my favourite thing about your battles are you explain everything thats going on, i like to put your videos on while i'm trying to sleep so i don't really look at the screen but i don't need to because you say everything thats going on. also on that note i've watched every video like 4 times now so need some new vgc content pls :d
QOTD: that time when you used Thief to steal a Gurdurr’s eviolite so it’s Knock Off would have enough power to knock out your Drifblim, which activated Destiny Bond and took out your opponent’s only counter to your team
The first video I watched on your channel was your Trace Gardevoir sweep video. The Draining Kiss & Stored Power, Calm Mind & Endure set. It was so novel & inventive I copied it and have used it in online matches with success.
Pokémon Legends Arceus looks incredible right now. Even if you don't upload competitive Pokémon battling, I would love to see you put out content for it!!! Love you Weedle
QOTD: The Ambipom & Weavile Beat Up strat is one of my favorites! I've rewatched that video so many times there's just something very satisfying about it
Oh dang I don't know if I can pick a favourite. You put out so many different interesting ones. Right this second I'll pick the phalinks strats you used.
QotD: Remember when you gave a Zoroark a Flame Orb or whatever just to really sell that it was a Heracross? That was amazing

my favorite strategy u used was the one with the team that used Round, i thought that was so genius it made me so shook i actually tested the team, love ur content
QOTD: Berry team. Literally the vid that introduced me to your channel
My favorite strat you've done is probably the teatime Exeggutor set-up, that video was really funny
qotd 1: i think my favorite strategy of yours is the toxic orb braviary, the weird item choices that actually worked and the precise use of certain niche moves made the strategy so cool to me. also that fling flame orb into drifblim to proc weakness policy and flare boost at the same was also cool.
qotd 2: probably piplup because i hate decidueye's redesign
QOTD: the first time I saw your Gardevoir Trace simple beam salac berry set, I was mindblown. Then the trace harvest set one upped it :D you are a genius at coming up with completely unheard of Pokémon teams and that’s what makes you special. Love you weedle
“I’m a little high right now it’s the only way I can deal with pokemon”
absolutely killed me lmao
Toxic Orb Zoroark to feign guts Heracross. That was such a great video!!
My favorite strats were either the Round team you put together, or the Shiinotic VGC Pranker Spore strat which looked like a blast to use!
Tbh just here to support the channel, I haven't kept up with a lot of pokemon content lately. Hope you're still managing okay Weedle :))
The guts Zoroark to bait it as a Heracross was super iconic! Best use of Illusion
It is so funny to me that even under poison heal, the toxic counter still increments and he immediately loses 1/4 health.
If they re stalling for so much time, it can even be a OHKO
@@eduvbs It is such a nifty interaction!
I fell in love with the unkillable Arcanine video you made I didn't think that was possible haha
QOTD: Assist Delcatty drawing a Normalize boosted V-Create was the thing that made me subscribe, that shit was hilarious. And just generally I enjoy your VGC and Showdown videos especially when you explain what your line of thinking and strategies are, you come up with some very refreshing and unique techs imho and it's lovely to see them at work.
my favorite video from you was probably the beat up one, idk why but i always come back to it; however your assist strats were INSANE to me
Your simple beam + Gardevoir strat is also my favourite :-)
Gardevoir is one of my favourite Pokémon but I NEVER considered that strat. Now I use it whenever I can.
Also every single strat you used that involved Snatch was beautiful. I wish they didn’t get rid of it smh.
QOTD: The shell smash Espeon sun team was incredible and I've been hooked ever since ❤️
But weedle have maractus so they cant be good
Honestly I can't remember which strat. I've been watching your content for quite a while and look forward to new stuff all the time. I love the Christmas magic freeze hax vid and the bdsp rattled monster goddess Clamperl
Your Trace Gardevoir set with Harvest Trevenant was the video that really made me laugh a lot and subscribe.
I really love your antimeta niche strategies like the u-turn counter and the jynx that stole geomancy
honestly i don't know anything about pokemon battles but my favourite thing about your battles are you explain everything thats going on, i like to put your videos on while i'm trying to sleep so i don't really look at the screen but i don't need to because you say everything thats going on. also on that note i've watched every video like 4 times now so need some new vgc content pls :d
The Round strategy was amazing. Always thought it was useless before I saw you use it.
