Why do you add ash? Doesn't it make the soil alkaline? Doesn't strawberries need a 5.5 to 6 ph of acidic soil in order to grow good strawberries not alkaline?

Carpenters build shouses, tailors make dresses, farmers plant food, not everyone should plant their food otherwise the farmer would lose their livelihood.
why should the farmer be tho only one with access to live fresh food. 2 hours after harvest plant loses lifeforce. carpenter growing herbs can have access to this wealth. farmers will always have a work because others cant grow all of their food.

Why would protecting your hands while you work in the garden mean someone would never succeed? I am a professional who enjoys gardening and I have a small baby. Wearing gloves allows me to work in the garden and transition to my many roles without having to scrub down for several minutes just to get the dirt out from under my fingernails. With this type of judgement we cast on each other, no wonder men think women hate each other 😢
