I recently rode my friend's splendour 125 first time which was more than 10 yrs old. The engine performance is good. I can ride without changing gears frequently. low end pickup excellent. I felt it's much better than my Honda CD110.
I think that Radeon competes with Honda CD Dream 110/ Dream Yuga and not against splendor. One person who was riding splendor was telling that radeon is like splendor, I stopped him , told him to come side of road and let us park our vehicles side by side and compare, it will take just 1 minute, I parked my Radeon besides his splendor and told him that "Look, height of radeon is 2 cm higher than splendor, width of radeon is 2 cm more than splendor and length of radeon is 5 cms more than splendor, so how can you compare splendor with radeon ? With this on the spot demo, I cleared the doubt from mind of splendor owner that "Radeon is not splendor, from all dimensions, Radeon is bigger than splendor".
I have driven this bike 550 kilometers in 2 days(Pune to Nasik to Peth to Trimbakeshwar to Igatpuri to Pune). I had driven at speeds between 45 to 70 km/hour, highway plys hilly roads. Total 550 kms, I completed in 7 liters fuel with mileage around 79 kmpl This trip I did with pillion rider( but I had driven this bike fully for 550 kms). In 1 year, I have driven this bike for 14000 kms and get good mileage between 70 to 74 kmpl(68 kmpl in city and 75 kmpl on highway). Even with a heavy pillion rider weighing 125 kgs, I got mileage around 68 kmpl.
That Instrument cluster is straight out of Raider 125 without a Gear position Indicators(why does a motorcycle with 4 gears need a gear position Indicator)....... It's just insane🔥😼💘
Happy owner of Radeon BS4, completed 41k km in 3.5 years and i didn't have to spend a single penny extra except engine oil..Best 110cc machine in Indian market.
@@hitstraight Just little lesser than the rider, still best among its competitors, pillion comfort will be same as Platina HGear with comfortec technology. But Radeon's suspension is on little harder side,so it's very stable during bumpy rides unlike platina which wobbles a lot.
It’s absolutely amazing how affordable small motorcycles are in India. The only thing we have in the US that comes close is the Honda Navi for $1800 and I would much rather have something from the 110-150cc commuter class. Here a 250-300cc is considered cheap and slow. They’re $5000 and can do 160kph!

Prices of motorcycles increase in USA because of dealers who expect a huge margin of profit. Chinese motorcycle and scooter makers have figured out a way to sell direct to customers. Hope Indian ones also start doing similar things.

@@kunalshah2331 , Got delivery of Radeon 5 days back, rode 350 kms, yesterday rode 180 kms with heavy pillion of 110 kg and still I got mileage of 72.8 kmpl (tank full-travel -tank full again basis). Mileage indicator was showing 68 kmpl but from tank full basis, I got mileage of 72.8 kmpl.

@@kunalshah2331 , I also own a TVS Victor GLX 125 and Pulsar 150 dtsi (I sold this pulsar bike and replaced with radeon). I tested Bajaj CT 110x , Platina 110 H gear, Also driven Hero Passion xtec and Super Splendor. In Mileage, I found Platina 110 good, I tested and got 78 kmpl, but it is very light weight (after applying brakes, this bike wobbles lot). CT 110x was also very good, but Bajaj is always confused, every 3 years, they stop production of CT and introduce discover and then after 3 years, they stop discover and introduce CT again (so part availability is big issue after 5 years). Passion Xtec 110 is also good but it has got lot of plastic and fiber along with stickers so later in case of breakages later, this bike is expensive. Super Splendor 125 is also good but again it was going out of budget hence I had to choose between Star City plus and TVS radeon. But for my work, I have to travel in rural and tribal hilly parts and hence I needed a bike which is good to travel on rough roads, offroading of 10 to 20 kms and sometimes 3 people riding on bike(though I don't recommend it but in interior rural and tribal parts, there is no option so 3 people on one bike travel for some distance). From my yesterday's ride of 170 to 180 kilometers 1) Both front and rear Shock absorbers are stiff one but with heavy pillion rider, ride quality is good on rural roads (don't feel the potholes). 2) With heavy pillion rider, it is difficult to turn . I recommend pillion around 80 kgs. The rider must be heavy and pillion must be lighter than the rider, then only the bike is stable (yesterday was reverse, I was riding , my weight is 78 kg whereas I was carrying pillion of 110 kg, so I was not able to ride this bike above 50 because if heavy pillion moves a little bit while sitting back, this bike wobbles. In case of my TVS Victor GLX 125, this thing does not happen). 3) Brakes are good, mine is drum brake version but still no issues in braking. But need to check after 5000 kilometers when brake liners starts to worn out. 4) Seating position is good(same like my TVS Victor GLX 125) , footpegs of radeon are ahead hence your legs are not folded while riding and even after riding 180 kms in one day no pain in legs(I used to face issue of pain in legs on pulsar 150 because footpegs of pulsar were backwards hence I have to sit on bike with legs folded and after 50 kilometers of riding pulsar, my legs started to pain). 5) Mileage is good. 65 kmpl in city and above 70 kmpl on highway (All this test done with pillion of 75 to 80 kg and heavy pillion of 110 kg. I have not yet tested mileage by riding solo. After first service, I will test mileage in solo ride).
@@pankajshirke9289 Thanks for ur detailed reply..some points to add - 110cc bikes usually are difficult to ride with heavy pillion than 125-150+ bikes as you need to put more pressure on handle to control bike & maintain acceleration.. - For your use case you have made a good choice by selecting this bike as u would need a rough & tough bike - Passion pro or livo are more better in city rather than village .. Platina can be a good combination in highway , village , city due to more ground clearance but since you did not find it comfortable thats ok to ignore it ..
If tvs launched a radeon with a raider 125 3v head and change ecu tuning this thing would be fast and fun for people who want commuter seating position.

Bhai, kya tum ask TVS what they are planning something to launch it's big successor in 125cc segment... I can wait upto 6 months at most, by the way I've planned to buy a new 125 cc till dec-jan from CB shine, super splendor & ct 125x. And Radeon is just exception for it....
What's the obsession with rounded rear view mirrors? It doesn't match for non rounded headlight. Also the visibility is less compared to the nearly rectangular ones.
Waste bike don't buy. I just bought 3months back gears not working properly, so much vibration jus above 50 speed, average also giving low. Better I should have bought hf 100.
Third class bike .... spare nahi milte iske... Meri bike 2 mahine se ghar pe khadi hai.. Clutch lever nahi mil raha...agency pe bhi nahi hai... Mai kya karu..?
