Mazie can I say you inspired me to make a brisket for the first time on my new pellet grill and it turned out epic, all other videos I seen pretty much say if you ain’t a expert who’s been throwing Down for years don’t even attempt it, or else they say “my ways the only way,” or like you said when they say a pellet grill ain’t real smoke. But pretty much all of your vids the vibe I get from you is Do you,and be comfortable, its pretty hard to screw up smoking anything

That looks really good. Here's something I tried last time, smoked the brisket open to 160 degrees, cap down, then wrapped it in paper and wrapped foil over the paper, cooked that with the smoker at 275 degrees till it was probe tender or about 202 degrees then rested a couple hours. The foil held all of the juices and heat inside and was like melting in my mouth good. I'm thinking the foil holds the juices in but I used the paper because I don't like aluminum in contact with the food. I do like what you have done and it looked nice and tender
Great video! Doing a brisket this weekend on my Silverbac with the butcher paper method. I usually do either foil or by itself but jumping on the paper train!

Depends on how long you’re resting for. If it’s a long period of time setting it to 200 would be good to keep it warm
