Sunflower Earrings | Polymer Clay Embroidery Tutorial

Polymer clay (we use FIMO and the colours are custom mixed)
- very pale blue for the base
- green
- brown
- yellow
For completition of the earrings you will also need jump rings (7mm) and earring stud posts.
Tools:
Acrylic roller
Blade/ Flat knife
Needle
Ball shaping tool
Cookie cutters - large and small

The yellow pigmentation are the clay residues, yes, most of the bold colours leave marks. That is also one of the reasons why we use white office paper as working surface ☺️

Hi Taslima, do you mean how the sunflowers are attached to the blue ring? In case, this is your question- because it is polymer clay, they attach to each other while baking 🌻

Hi Jen, for base we prefer Fimo soft and for small details we prefer Fimo professional :) but try both and see what works for you, workability of these types very much depends also on your hands temperature.

Yes, polymer clay has to be baked to become solid 💛

You can use any oven, if the oven is able to maintain stable temperature. For baking time and temperature check your polymer clay package, since these may vary with brands.
