Nephti is the unit I never knew I needed. Her U10 is so insane to have. And even if I go into a fight blindly and Nephti doesn't hit any of the weaknesses. She provides so many buffs and utility spells, it's actually so nice. Also as someone who could barely hit 99,999 cap. Having Solon is giving me a feeling I've never felt before. Seeing 250K per hit is ludicrous.
(Upd: My bad! My assumption was wrong, ambushing flamelance gets casted not in the beginning but in the end of the turn. As such it is a nuke on a timer and you shouldn't break with it, so the flying flamelance is the break skill.) Ambushing flamelance seems rather obvious? You use it before a planned break 4 turns ahead and as such you get +1 action in the damage phase and have more time for preparation. You have flying flamelance of course but it costs more mp, it's random target and you need to use bp to increase amount of turns. A shame some of Solon's skill effects need combustion. He wouldn't have become OP with them, just a little better. Like, what is some def, mdef and fire res down on an attack at this point? Primrose has 2 hit aoe with same effect and Lynette has 2 hit aoe with fire res down, they just don't exploit spear. I personally don't get why would I use him against spear weakness when he's all about magic support and we have Richard with a much better spear buff since he buffs atk too. Anyway, more flexibility is better I guess, in case there's a boss who switches fire and spear weakness.

I feel like we should start a movement for f2p players. It feels like with all these banners being thrown at us, the devs just expect us to crap out rubies out of our butt...it feels so overwhelming...
I fully understand you. the fear of missing out on hardcore characters lately is huge. and it will be more difficult to withstand take a huge leap into your wallet month by month. but sadly, that's how gacha works. and SE is really good at doing that. I would advice you to withstand and being strong if you want to stay f2p. and only go into banners which you have been thinking about a lot. I'd even say wait until the banner is almost gone like the Monday of the tavern talk so you know what's coming and so on. good luck on your pulls!
Man luck really ebbs and flows for me in this game. Had the worst luck ever back to back. 3.5k gems in Tatloch banner for one 5 star and it wasnt Tatloch. Then 4.2k gens in Bargello for ZERO 5 star or 4.5 star. Had to throw my f2p badge in in the bin and bust out the card to do a full paid step. But then the game finally threw me a bone. 5 singles for EX Haanit 4.5 star. 1 multi on Nepthi banner, no swirl animation whatsoever, still two 5 stars, Nephti and Lumus dupe. 4 multis in Solon banner had me walk away with a 5 star Zaanta dupe, 5 star Bargello dupe, 4.5 star Theo dupe and a 5 star Solon. Insane. But yeah Nepthi seems really really good all around. I definitely made sure to prioritize her. Solon has one of the best ults in the game if not the best, but the rest of his kit is so mediocre. Still a good unit all around but I i think Nephti is definitely higher value.

Tbh i feel like they are both really good i only have solon and tested him in the new lvl 100 npc and performed really good even with A0 and U9, nephti is providing not only a lot of buffs but a coverage in what i feel like are more niche weaknesses on enemies (tome)
I ended up spending almost all of my Rubies on Nephti, mostly because I like her character. But now that you showed me how OP she is, I'm really gonna invest on her. Question: is it better to use Awakening Stones awakening the characters' abilities or in the EX Ultimate?
what is an EX ultimate? :D in the moment having characters awaken makes them stronger in general, but some units (solon for example) have way more use for the group. it depends.
Does future dark pet ability to restore an Ult stack with Solon's U10? I managed to snatch both him and Nepthi for a re roll, kinda tempted to go the extra mile for the dupe, but dunno
I used 4500 rubies to get Solon A0U10, now I'm regretting to not have sparked Nephti (and waiting 6 months for U10 Solon). Should I go for Nephti free banner and take a risk? I have 12000 free rubies and 800 paid, my plan on the paper is to get Elrica-Alaune-OdioO-Sazantos-Cigna and I should be able with a very careful spending strategy, but this plan didn't foresee buffed Nephti!
well SE is not silly, they want all our money :D it depends, I have made a very good time now with nephti being only u9 maybe you'll spark her or even spook her in another Mt banner? as you have a decent amount of rubies but you also have a decent number of units you maybe need to spark, too.
I just sparked Nephti into A4. Being able to deal constant crits is exciting. Ironically, I wasn’t planning on making a big deal with her. But with the global buffs and the possibility (now a reality) of her A4, I just had to spark. Solon I got to U10 based on the advice of others. You video helped explain why this was the right choice to make. How’d you do with Nephti and Solon?
therion is doing almost always crit damage of 199.999k damage X 6 which is huge. but for a few of those adversary enemies, it's still not enough when casted two or even 3 times with u10 Solon and bargellos ult9. so maybe it is still not enough :D

Solid units but I'm too low on rubies after a4ing Bargello lol I am forced to save for chapter 8 memory travelers when they come out soon.

I have Solon A1U10, Nephti A1U9, they are so good! Solon's fire move can benefit with Federica and her A4 though...
she can cast it with all her moves, that's why I didn't really like his kit that much when playing with Frederica ;)
