how is your first impression of Ceruledge from 1-10?
I haven't buy Ceruledge yet, but I get a 5/10. It gets hard carried by its unite move and everything just ok.
My opinion can change later.
It really isnt worth to buy it i think. Its health isnt smt crazy only unite is very good. I would prefer tanky all rounders like ttar scizor and dragonite

TiMi is STOOPID! and they did not even give us Weavile and Pheromosa; not excited and sorry for the spamming
6. Good 1 on 1 mon but isn't going to play well into team fights. Similar issues to Azu

Your Hoopa was actually cracked ngl. They were so aware of you and kept giving u custom portals. Also stole Registeel from right under the opponents. MVP for sure in that one.
I love playing with hoopas like that.

Agreed that hoopa was really gold, I also play an extremely well hoopa too and don't do stupid stuff ie: breaking goals at 7 minute mark, etc.
I did not expect a mega man star force collab in unite adding black ace form to the game

The one thing I dislike about this build is the sound effect for bitter blade hitting just, isn’t impactful? It’s so quiet it makes it sound weak even though it does so much damage
Same issue I have with Scizor. You’ll be doing tons of damage with Bullet Punch but it sounds like you’re hitting them with cardboard tubes and foam noodles. Scyther’s a bit better, but the sounds still lack some sharpness.
@@Invisifly2 Scythers are very sharp and impactful, scizor yeah but its not like each punch is meant to be strong
bitter blade is so big and slow with high damage yet it sounds as weak as 1 basic attack
@@Invisifly2 I can agree it sounds underwhelming but I don't consider it that bad because I think it suppose to sound blunt, and it sounding more like "muffled" bullets and not metallic is a stylistic choice.
Though it could've been better
@@dinoooooom bullets are generally pretty far from quiet. Not talking about the gunpowder in the cartridge, just the impact of the bullet itself.

Totally agree with you, I even forgot that it was an all-rounder... Too squishy compared to the others, with a lot of mobility, should definitely be a speedster!

I'm curious to see what the mathcord says about the scaling for each move. Like does the bitter blade heal scale off max hp or atk% ? First impressions without any math or actual gameplay experience, I was thinking of running Cookie/Weight, Razor + Muscle for this build, and Muscle/Scope/Weakness for the other
The weakness policy doesn't really make any sense. He's really squishy and that little bit of hp isn't going to help. In my opinion your better off going full damage and hoping to just kill people as fast as possible

Bitter blade build seems more fit for laning, utilizing attack weight, cursed bangle and resonant guard, or cursed bangle, resonant guard and energy amplifier.
I think running it in middle/jungle is actually a bad choice with the bitter blade build. If you run him jungle you shouldn't be stacking either, as you cant reliably stack as a jungler. Halfway in you only had 1 stack, which is very rough. It's practically a dead item if you can't get at least 1 stack per minute.
I think people aren't using Ceruledge properly at the current point yet/haven't figured out how he works. I can see some incredible synergies with cursed bangle, resonant guard and attackweight/energy amplifier.
Also, I don't think muscle band and Razor claw is a good choice for the bitter blade build, which seems to be the much more skill intensive build since it's all about spacing and timing.
Bitter blade build also needs a defensive item or two. I could even see Focus band AND resonant guard alongside cursed bangle/energy amp/attack weight being a good choice since this mon is very power defensively but seems fine offensively.
You clearly didn't pay attention in the test server or you didn't even play it😂

Also nothing I said can bw refuted. Muscle band is bad for bitter blade build, and razor claw is turbo bad on bitter blade build. It's the worst possible choice. And who the hell runs stacking as jungle???
@@Kizen.Sounds to me like you just dislike stacking in jungle. (Which is fine, I don’t particularly like it either) Stacking in jungle is perfectly viable though and is done frequently in high level play. Now whether you choose to stack or not is up to personal preference but for some junglers it can be non-negotiable(ex: Dodrio, Zoroark), as even just two stacks with them is massive value because of fucked up move scaling/or ease of access. Saying muscle is bad on that moveset is crazy when iirc muscle triple procs on boosted auto (according the mathematicians over on the mathcord at least). If you were to drop it you would lose incredible value, it’d be borderline troll. Even if it didn’t triple proc autos are still Ceruledge’s bread and butter which makes muscle automatically a good option. I do agree with running a “defensive” item over claw as it’s probably on the lower end of the viable items for Phantom Blade. Though your best options would be something like weakpol or even scope, not necessarily defense in the traditional sense but they increase your auto damage which in turn increases the healing you receive from said autos(which attack weight also does 😉). If you wanted to run a more traditionally defensive item I’d choose focus band over guard, because you can stall the healing out inside of pforce for big heals when things get spicy. I don’t think guard is terrible for it, I just think you’re missing out on a lot by picking it.
@@pokenoodle1582 I don't dislike stacking in jungle, but I think for certain mons it's much less valuable. You need significant map traversal and incredible burst damage/escape potential to make it worthwhile. Zoroark, Dodrio, Talonflame, those are mons I can see it making sense to do so. But for a mon like Ceruledge I feel like they're better off going Razorclaw, Scope lense, muscleband and trying to kill as fast as possible with the solid burst damage but kind of mild mobility for a "speedster" styled mon.
As for the focus band, i do think focus band is better, but sidelaners running Attack Weight and Aeos cookie is usually the best play outside of playing a mon like Lucario who has a massive shield that scales off attack, scales highly off energy amp, and can benefit more from utilizing focus band to deal with mons like Ceruledge/Ttar and other true damage sources that can penetrate his huge shield.
I think Ceruledge lacks too hard defensively, and for the bitter blade build attack seems to be the best choice for him, so attack weight is a natural choice. But going all in on damage is the wrong idea for a bitter blade build in my testing, and focus band and resonant guard or Aeos cookie resonant guard seem to be top choices for his other two items.
5:51 It wasn’t that big of a misplay by the delphox tbh. The difference is 10 points and you’re under pressure from your opponents to maybe not score and break the goal there at all. Anyone would have put in the 40 in that situation.
50-12 is 10 point difference? but who is talking about the hoopa 40 that is right its about the delphox 12 points denying my 50

I have saved up near 14k coins yet should I wait for 1 week for ceruledge to be available for coins or save up and buy mewtwo y or should I buy zoroark I'm very confused 😭 I have yet to unlock zoroark, dodrio, lapras, chandelure, mewtwo y, x , mimikyu, ttar, gyrados scizor, smh supporter except for blissey, hoopa, wigglytuff, eldegoss what should I buy
First buy best Pokemon of meta
It mainly depends on your play style but yeah you could look up who's strong right now in the meta and buy them as long as you like playing them are good with them

@@danielvaughn8002 idk how to define my playstyle I'm usually at distance with inteleon , decidueye, leafeon extremely aggressive with zacian and trevenant fairly aggressive with blaziken umbreon cinderace dragapult miraidon sylveon glaceon and most pokemon so ig my playstyle is aggressive cuz I'm extremely aggressive with pokemon ik can survive and not aggressive only with squishy mons

Right now for me is a 6. Should have been a speedster but all rounder is Okay-ish.
The unite is the best part of his kit and gets hard carried by that but other than that, is a decent release. Not so OP that it destroys the game.
Issue is without a balancing patch, he has rough competition and Full Heal is a Must because while it has so much mobility, other than the unite and phantom force, once you get stuck, stunned, paralysed or such, you go down quickly as there is no other way for avoiding CC ane because even with cookie, you are rather squishy.

Ceruledge unite and phantom force seems broken
People say emblems and held items dont effect the game much but i think they do. Compared to PTR footage this is very good looking 🤘👍
Oh they absolutely do. For example, a fully attack weight stacked Tsareena at level 6 with attack emblems has the same attack stat as it does at level 12. That’s a huge power spike.
If held items didn’t matter, people wouldn’t complain about getting matched with teammates holding leftovers.
Emblems are a smidge less impactful, but definitely still matter.

"Bitter" as in feelings, since Ceruledge is angy
Because in Japanese, it's originally called "Munen no Tsurugi", which translates to "Regret/Shame/Mortification Sword/Blade".
I'm thinking "Bitter" comes from the negativity and resentment you feel when you have regrets, unfulfilled wishes, etc., kinda like a ghost's grudge that keeps them on earth if you believe that kind of thing.

As ftp player, I usually test the new release mons in bot match. And imo, ceruledge is so fun. First game with phantom force feels so wobbly lol. But that move has so much potential
