In single wire connection u only need to connect the phase the neutral will be provided by the existing neutral by the inverter...only the inverter needs the main phase n neutral to charge its battery...

@@kalaiarasan2304 it depends on how many mcbs you have installed in your home...say 3 mcbs in three rooms n u have installed ur inverter in a room then if the rest of the 2 rooms will not get neutral if ur inverter room's mcb is tripped due to short circuit or manually by you for some reason...the neutral through the inverter travels through the input top of the inverter....so all the devices under that circuit will get the neutral...if you have a single elcb then thre is no prblm...because all ur rooms are connected by the elcb which then it connects all the neutral of the 3 mcbs...if all of 3 mcbs are not tripped then neutral will flow in all the rooms
