Started messing around with making beats for my mate who wants to record music, vidoes have helped alot! Been using a free DAW atm, gonna get FL hopefully next week, how are the stock sounds? Currently using all free VST's, some are pretty decent
The stock ones are ok, obviously things like Omnisphere are better but work with what you have first

How can i get my tag to be on tempo when recording?
Click in the file and make sure it's set to "stretch" mode. Then when you stretch it in the playlist it won't change the pitch
