    • @whyioughta178
      @whyioughta178 5 років тому +26

      DeadlyNeedle ! There’s different forms of sexism, yes there are some who may not treat a woman the same as a man in a situation where that shouldn’t matter, but there’s also this; Believing and trying to justify that woman shouldn’t be leaders or biologically couldn’t be leaders is absolutely ridiculous, it just as pitiful of a excuse as when Christians would say that African americas were inferior in the name of god, to try and justify slavery.
      Woman and men can be whoever they want to be and shouldn’t be defined by their gender. I understand that women and men are built different but if a woman wants to train and give it her all, maybe soon we’ll see the strongest person on earth be a woman, and if a man wants to be a more feminine than the average girl than so be it. People can do whatever they want to do, if that’s fitting or not fitting with their gender roles, whatever makes them feel comfortable for themselves, than that is just. The world is changing and women don’t want to be stay a home mother anymore, but if they do that is fine and accepted but NO woman should be forced to and people (like Derrick) who think this way often do, as with past generations, forced women to marry and have children when they didn’t want to. So I am weary of people like him, who carry the ideologies that women shouldn’t be befriended because of their gender and that they should go back to the way things were- where men were on top and women had to obey, because that’s all this really is, thats the real thinking behind this, I believe, and is mostly likely the reason why women tend to stray from him. No one wants to be in a relationship with someone who doesn’t think they’re equals, could be friends or both be leaders together, despite gender. Why else would men, but barley ANY women have this ideology? Because it puts men on top, women don’t want to go back to those days because it was terrible and made many unhappy, and had to be ‘the perfect house wife’.
      We must recognize that it is hard for a woman to be big in this world because it has always been a mans world and we must recognize that. Women in 3rd world and 1st world can see this, if that is rising to power in work positions (being taken serious in a job)or trying to fight to be able to go to school like any other boy. Women have been oppressed in many society’s, socially and physically through history. Maybe life isn’t hard for the average 1st world woman of today but there is a history and it still affects the women of today, just as the history of slavery still affects the black people of today.
      I understand that there’s having Christian or traditional values but people like him must understand that the is just not the way anymore and may be even offense to most women, because it trying to bring us back to a time we’re women were oppressed, socially and systematically, with trying and not being able to get a job on their own and make it in the world without a husband or being forced into marriage. If he finds a girl who is willing to have that type of relationship than that is fine, thats not my business. But to sit here and act like that thinking isn’t backwards is just a lie. I hope I don’t offend you or anything this is just what I and many others believe. :)

    guy had a point with the whole "brighten up the day of someone lonely without having to date them". confident/extroverted people should aspire to do that.
    BUT
    there's an undeniable majority of incels who complain about the friendzone to an unreasonable degree. they misread genuine friendly behavior as flirting, get their hopes up and get really mad later, insulting and antagonizing the woman. and although the big majority wouldn't resort to violence or some other kind of sabotage, the risk is always there.
    although many women are shallow and just want to lead men on, there's also a logical reason why many of us don't usually give compliments/strike a friendly conversation with guys, unless we intend to sleep with them.

      I think it's important to realize that the people you disagree with politically usually believe what they say, especially regular citizens. I would argue his reasoning is actually in line with most mens, being in a woman's friendzone rarely leads to romantic realtionships, many men have been relegated to this area after being rejected. He needs a therapist. Saying this out of empathy.
    Edit: a lot of people misunderstood me. Even if he would not have said the whole traditional gender role thing, I would have still said the same. If a person is sad, lonely and hurt, he shouldn't be ridiculed. Getting therapy doesn't make one inferior. It takes courage to ask for help. Self acceptance is not everyone's feat. He blamed his life problems solely on the world ( somewhat on women) One has to fight for their own problems, and it's a sick mentality to think that having friends and relationship will help. A sinking boat will sink whether it's one person or ten. One must have the desire to save themselves, and therapy encourages that. It doesn't save you, it teaches you to save yourself. And this guy here needs to have more faith in himself because world will keep throwing problems at you, and you will have to solve it. Just like saying I'm the best at everything is a form of entitlement, so is saying I'm the worst, incorrigible mess. That's the kind of entitlement that hurts more. I think I've made myself clear, and have no more to say.

    What you feel is what you feed your brain with. And If your brain interprets that you're not safe it just makes you hurt more to protect you form the outside world radiation and keep home. This is the definition of being an incel . Basically you don't feel safe, and you are vulnerable.. And because of this you're not visible to others! You need to change this! You cannot change this by being a tougher guy. You need to define what your pain means to you and reestablish your safety zone in your mind. Once your brain calms down these viral thought cycles in your mind you will have the opportunity to grow and learn. Then you will be able to walk away from your pain an be you. I wish you the best!

The majority of the women are chasing after a small minority of the men. This is an issue in society that needs to be addressed, incels are part of that wider issue. If you deny that then you're a fool. Young people arent coupling up and having families anymore. If you go back to when our grandfathers were young, sexlessness among young men was alnost a quarter of what it is now. That is a huge shift and cannot be ignored. As a kindergarten teacher, I correct children on things like “Don’t hit your friends.” and “No, you can’t jump off the top of the slide.” We correct children to teach them social values and safety. Saying that women need this kind of correction dismisses them as functional people.

    I find it interesting that he recommends women be nice to the lonely guys. That makes a lot of sense of the surface, like of course people should be nice to other people. The problem is that when women are kind, incels will take that kindness and morph it into a romantic expectation, and then when women reject that expectation, they become bitter. On the whole it's not a problem with women being cruel to unattractive men, it's a problem with men taking romantic rejection as cruelty

      Nah, there totally is a problem. He's not giving anything back. This is pure entitlement at its finest. It's not like he would try to be nice to some girl he wasn't attracted to, to understand women more without the goal of sleeping with them. So no, fuck guys like this. They deserve to be alone until they change their attitude.

      @@llIlIlllII I think we're on the same page dude, generally I'm saying that there's an issue with men having unfair expectations of women. I'm pointing out that this guy expects women to be kind to him as though women normally have some sort of predisposed vendetta against him, when really he's a hypocrite who doesn't understand that he is not entitled to his romantic expectations of women and he takes women's rightful rejection of these expectations as cruelty. So yes, he should totally be alone until he changes his attitude, because he has an outlook of "I DESERVE women's romantic attention whenever I pursue it," which is absolutely disgusting. And yes, I also agree that he probably wouldn't be kind to a woman he didn't find attractive

      @@joshrees3413 The big problem is that they think that they are nice just because they did something for a woman. Just because you did something for a woman that doesnt mean anything. And you can be "traditional" but if you are a dick you dont get any girl at the end.
