Fuddu bana reha oh. Oh nu pata vi je oh ne pagg laake film kiti taan ohda boycott kar dena sardaaran ne. Kise ne oh di film ni dekhni te na oh da gaana sunana fer usto baad. So he is aware that he can't risk his punjab fan following for getting more work in bollywood.
He will lose his sikh fan following if he takes off turban. He knows there are plenty of sardaars who just don't follow but worship him like god. They consider him role model. I saw some turban wearing sikh guy saying on social media that he will commit suicide if diljit ever does a film without turban. He knows his sikh fans will totally boycott him once he takes off turban for a bollywood film. So he is only concerned about that. Not that he is proud to be a sikh or whatsoever..
Ye banda bada acha hai. Allah isko har cheez se nawazein. He seems so genuine. He is a great role model for everyone.

I am not a Sikh. But I respect the Sikhs who never compromise on their turbans. And Diljit has become a role model. It's bollywood..every actor is pleased to act in it but he rejected many offers bcoz he cannot act without a turban. Vadhaiyaan ji Vadhaiyaan

On top of that refuses to do any “fazool” ya “gatya” scenes. He doesn’t need to becayse his acting and presence in the movie is enough-doesn’t need to compromise on his morals to get the fame- This person is nothing less than a gem.

I watched the interview. there were 3 points i liked the most:
1. He said he accepts he has cut beard, so he is not a complete sikh
2. Will not remove his turban
3. Sare jahaan to acha 'Bharat' desh sada. choosing 'Bharat' in place of 'Hindustan' was the smart choice.
Why do you think he used bharat strategically??
@@shreya4011 , BHA means light and RAT means someone who has devoted his/her entire life for that light. It basically means, the seeker of ultimate truth. So this is most secular name of India. Whereas 'Hindustan' is not. 1. Hindu relates to the religion. 2. World Hindu is farsi word for theif also.

The way you present the situation and the way you involve yourself into the interview is unbelievable. I have watched Diljit interview 4 times since morning. You are a star for me now.
