micah benn Ninja was pretty good I'd say, but Yolandi's character didn't have much of an arc in the story, so she didn't really have that much to work with. I liked Ninja's story though, and how he started off seeing Chappie as a simple tool and a means to an end, and by the end of the movie genuinely felt sorry for lying to him.

Die Antwoord is less of a music act and more of a visual full package experience when you watch their MVs. That's where they're good, with the combo of the music and the visuals. I feel like people don't realize this and just hate on the music without the visual paired with it.

micah benn Ninja was pretty good I'd say, but Yolandi's character didn't have much of an arc in the story, so she didn't really have that much to work with. I liked Ninja's story though, and how he started off seeing Chappie as a simple tool and a means to an end, and by the end of the movie genuinely felt sorry for lying to him.

Seems that everyone is hating on chappie because of these two being in the movie. As for me, I thought chappie was Amazing. Personally I did not know who they were until 2 days ago. When I started searching about Chappie music. Wanted to know who were the singers. Since I saw the movie without knowing Die Antwoord at the very least. I thought those were south Africans actors, and watching them did not bother me one bit. I actually thought they played their role quite nice. Now I know who they are and been cheking more of their stuff and to be frankly am amazed that this was their first acting gig..
Now I know why every one is hating chappie. It's not the movie but Die Antwoord being on it.

Yolandi would make a perfect Elf in one of those LOR movies. I've read conflicting opinions of her looks - good and bad. I consider her "High Exotic" with classic bone structure and excellent R-L symmetry. Her wispy little-girl voice is completely intoxicating and sure wish they wouldn't smoke so much - not too healthy - said as a professional healthcare worker specializing in such things. Wouldn't want to see them get lung cancer or emphysema.
