I wish it was like this on my street again, no one in my town has done this where the entire neighborhood participates since 2000 and honestly it's sad. What's even sadder is the fact that we haven't had trick or treaters for a decade now and I can't understand why. Not just my neighborhood but at least several others.

It's awesome! the community participates. Their home owners association must be active with all of the celebrations or holidays. Who knows there might be a prize or a contest in their neighborhood.
Very cool! I'm guessing that there are alot of families with kids? I am the only one in my neighborhood that decorates for Halloween. However, about 6 blocks away, there is one street where every house is decorated! The kids in that area then go to my house after they visit those houses-lol.
I'm a Filipino (born in the Philippines), If I happened to be living in America with that same neighborhood , I would decorate my property with various Philippine monster folklore like the Mananangal (viscera sucker vampire) , Tiyanak (demonic baby), Tikbalang (half human half horse demon), Aswang (ghoul),
AS LONG AS CANDY IS DOLLED OUT THESE GREAT DISPLAYS CAN BE AS LITTLE AS ONE PLASTIC PUMPKIN OR $ 10K OF AMAZING HAUNTS. IT'S A DAY AND NIGHT OF ALL FUN NO MATTER HOW WE CELEBRATE IT!!
