in the past 10 years Castleford has very much gone downhill. It used to be a lovely little place with a huge variety of shops, now replaced with Turkish barbers(money laundering?) Euro mini-market shops, vape shops and general "run down" take away places. Nothing here to see anymore apart from the ex offenders, druggies and other unsavory charaters. Shame on you Wakefield council for letting this town go to ruin!
