Planting from a to i can be a useful training to not move the fingers too much away from the string. It’s not useful so for playing itself, just for training and muscle memory. Train very very slow and just 3-5 minutes.
Yes, you can’t do it the entire time you play, but this is a first step for people whose hands are bouncing and they’ve never experienced planting before. Thank you for commenting!
Hey Adam, Great lesson. Even after all these years, Tommy still chuckles when I complain that my thumb just won't friggin stay disciplined enough to move independently. I swear there's something wrong with me. 🙄😉 But hey, I can rock climb fairly moderately. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
