fun fact: rengokus reaction to the food wasn't just comedy, it was because japanese warriors were taught to savor every bite of every meal in case that it was their last, he wasn't just being dramatic, he was savoring his meal in case he died, which he then did.

he had no other choice, his goal was to protect everyone, he knew he couldn't kill Akaza in end, that's why he said "i have to deal the most damage possible in one instant", because he wanted just to buy time
@@andreafelizola5369 he said i need to deal the most damage in a single attack in an instant is because akaza is the third upper moon and his regenerating skills are SS+ tier. he can't just simultaneously slash him and expect to win, he needed to cut his neck off in an instant so akaza can't regenerate. which even he did akaza wouldn't die because in manga he does it.

Even with multiple hashira’s fighting against an upper moon has been difficult. Even if it was just to buy time, the amount of time Rengoku held out against Akasa was insane. Tells you how much of a beast Rengoku was, even among hashira’s.
The entire OST in the last third of this movie is godly. ufotable is known for their animation, but Yuki Kajiura and Gou Shiina’s work with them is so underrated.

Even though everyone only praises Rengoku, i have to give some words of Praise to Akaza aswell! That guy fought like a True Warrior, no Cheap Tricks, no Attacks to the Back, he didn't even Attempt to Kill Tanjiro a Second time after Rengoku made his Point clear and didn't even try to hurt one of the Passengers! (He wouldn't have killed half of them Anyway because according to the wiki, Akaza refuses to Hurt or kill Women which makes his Upper Rank Three even more impressive) He only wanted to Fight an Epic 1 vs 1 against Rengoku and even though he could have killed him Several Times, he gave him time to Breath again and Again, hoping that he would Consider his offer, and let him use every Technique He had instead of trying to stop him! i doubt that he would have even Ran away even in his Position, if the sun wouldn't mean his Certain death! That guy is by far the most Honorable Demon so far and i Hope to see him again soon!

Watching Rengoku continue giving this fight his all despite already doing so much earlier, while fending off both physical attacks and mental temptations was so inspiring. I think all of humanity can learn from Rengoku's example that no matter the outcome, staying true to oneself and remaining honorable against all odds will ALWAYS determine the true victor in any of life's greatest and most intense battles.

I just watched this yesterday and I couldn’t stop smiling, the fight, the music, the choreography of the fight, it was all too damn entertaining. I got chocked up in the end but man was I glad to watch this film and see Rengoku fight like a Hashira!
Easily one of the best if not the best animated battles in anime. each individual scene was a masterpiece in animation, and this music fits perfectly.

I think that's part of the reason why Akaza liked Kyojuro so much-he reminded him a little of his old self.

We might not have flying cars in 2021 but imagine this sick shit performed live by an orchestra and epic choir in one of our great philharmonic halls and you're there to experience it.
Pairing both classical and modern instruments like this is something nobody prior a certain point in our past could've even dreamt of. What a sound!
Yeah, I loved hearing my instrument (trombone) hanging out in the background. Trombones have a very distinct sound, they're the big fat guy in the back of the choir of brass instruments. The only one bigger and fatter than the trombone is the tuba, but anyway it's very easy to tell when a trombone is playing compared to the similar-sounding but very distinct instruments like the euphonium/baritone, french horn, even low reeds like the bass clarinet / bari(tone) saxophone or the trumpet, which is known for ear splitting high notes

I rarely tear up but that one scene at the end with all of them crying made me tear up a little.
