That transom saver is the single most important piece on that boat lol. If you don’t have one the motor will bounce if you are on a bumpy road or gravel and destroy your transom.
FYI the purpose of the “transom saver” on the outboard is to protect the weight of the outboard bouncing going down the road from tearing up your transom on the boat.
That support is also used to support and save the tilt / trim on the motor on longer drives... the supports it comes with are great for shorter distances but for longer drives, they are worth their weight in gold....
Yes you need the “transom saver” it’s not about the hydraulics failing, it’s about getting the wait off of the transom, especially when traveling and you hit small bumps all the weight on the transom bouncing will eventually break the transom!
That made me cringe again during this video, when they were trying to figure out what it was called, then followed it up with,” you don’t really even need one” good grief man. Good thing they have plenty of money to burn.
That bar for the lower unit to the trailer is used to save your transom as it bounces down the road. Over time you can get cracks in the transom if the motor isn't supported from bouncing.
The transom saver on your boat keeps your transom from cracking while you are in transit. The motor is heavy and bounces on the road causing undo stress on the transom (the spot the motor bolts on )
Nobody: Perics mind when trying to open the shipping container, “You know what would be better than finding aged wine? Finding aged white claws. That sounds so much better than aged wine.”
4:27 those actually protect the transom of your boat. It displaces the shock of driving down the road to your trailer. The other ones that go on the trim cylinder still put stress on the transom when it is bouncing around.
That pole from the trailer to the lower unit in the prop is called the transom saver. It’s so you don’t put extra stress on the transom while driving down the road
PARIC. The arm on there is called a transom saver it keeps your motor from bouncing up and down going down the road and cracking the transom , my family's boat didn't have one and the fiberglass transom cracked around the motor mounts
Gotta love Peric. Peric they and we make fun of you but you are the best and most interesting and funny Googan Squad member ever. Sad you don’t post more!
The point of the transom saver is to put the weight of the motor on the trailer, not the transom of the boat. Hence the name transom saver. If you’re only driving short distances you really don’t need it but if you’re driving any long distances you should use it.
Not speaking from experience or anything but the big plastic jugs with metal cages around them that you joked were for "acid" are actually probably from nutrients (needed for growing weed hydroponically). That would probably explain all the extra buildings, storage containers, burner cars and water piping laying around LMAO
How could you possibly know that when he didn't give any views of it except the side. What fiero are you talking about? There isn't one on the property.
The transom saver isn't necessarily for the hydraulics itself. It keeps the motor from making stress fractures in the boats transom when it bounces. Fyi 😉
Watching Peric try to open the wrong door on the shipping can with one hand, while it's locked, was one of my favourite things ever. Clearly a "man" who's done no manual labour in his life
I would be careful when you say extremely because none of them are extremely valuable, especially the condition they’re in. Is there value there, yeah sure but nothing crazy.
That transom saver is the single most important piece on that boat lol. If you don’t have one the motor will bounce if you are on a bumpy road or gravel and destroy your transom.
Want to know what's in trailers?? Find keys to vehicles or put new ignition in them👍 beat up on property😁. See when ponds done!! Need part 2.

Everyone: this is so cool
Flair: its a crime scene
Jon B is a nice guy!! We need more of him in the world!!
I would love that c-10. I had one and have been wanting another one. Beautiful place JonB.
The transom support it to keep the weight from bouncing and causing stress on the 4 bolts mounting the engine to the transom of the boat
Googan crash Jon’s house and all they find is white claws
The transom saver on your boat keeps your transom from cracking while you are in transit. The motor is heavy and bounces on the road causing undo stress on the transom (the spot the motor bolts on )
The boys be buzzin at the Jon B compound! 🤘
Nice full yard tour!
It's a transom saver, most ideal for a fiberglass transom/hull, but still arguably neccessary for aluminum.
Nobody:
Perics mind when trying to open the shipping container, “You know what would be better than finding aged wine? Finding aged white claws. That sounds so much better than aged wine.”
The way the fence is built inbetween the two storage shops and theyres a container i would bet someone used to sell used parts and or chop shop. Lol.
Perics the definition of the friend .. you never want to bring over 😂
These are my favorite kind of videos straight winging it

Perck looks like a 2017 90210 try out.. Keep that color tight. 👀👍😉👍
Keep them smiles coming peric.
Liking the video and calling Flair's bluff.
@ 4:26 - that rod is to take the pressure off the hydraulics, so that the system isn't holding the engine up - the rod does...
That pole from the trailer to the lower unit in the prop is called the transom saver. It’s so you don’t put extra stress on the transom while driving down the road
Flair literally has:
3 side by sides
3 boats
3 dogs
And 3 goats
He should be the last one to talk😂🤣
Googans!!!
PARIC. The arm on there is called a transom saver it keeps your motor from bouncing up and down going down the road and cracking the transom , my family's boat didn't have one and the fiberglass transom cracked around the motor mounts

The most important thing for a trophy bass pond is shad. Gotta have shad.
I don't give a shad!
Nah crawfish or bluegill would be just as good
Golden shiners
bearatts fuck that
I personally think bass are the key ingredient to a bass pond
4:30 they save the transom from cracking. Use the metal rod looking one it’s da best but it’s kinda hard to use
Gotta love Peric. Peric they and we make fun of you but you are the best and most interesting and funny Googan Squad member ever. Sad you don’t post more!
You have a super nice place Jon!!! congrats!!!
FYI - The transom saver is for what it is. To reduce stress and fatigue on the transom.
Bruh flair didn’t know that Ford made tractors 😂
I mean the guy is wearing lime green yeezys 😂
Dont forget flair grew up in the subdivision. 😂
I got one out back
Yeah flair didn’t grow up country lol. He didn’t become like this till he moved out here.
Right? Lol
Tour of the shipping container?
dope video
What is the purpose of the motor's steel support bar you ask? To hang a collection of "Truck Nuts" xD
Whoever imitated Perics voice saying help was hilarious 😂
Jon’s new ranch is totally gnarly bro!
Definitely need the apartment tour!!

So im not the only one.. Glad some people still have some sense! Cheers!
They have enough money so it’s not a concern
Or how to open a container
They're good people it's just they're lying about what state they're in Texas plates on a Jeep 👌
@@williamjohnson4153 there was a lock on one side so I will give them some slack for it. But it's def not rocket science how to open one. 😂
The GM computer in the Ford looks like the ECM out of the fiero. It goes behind the arm rest/center console
How could you possibly know that when he didn't give any views of it except the side. What fiero are you talking about? There isn't one on the property.
Love the videos guys
The support for the outboard is to keep from cracking the transom when bouncing down the road.
Can't wait to see the camel swimming in the pond!
At my house, "that corner", is where projects go to die.
At my house the spot for that is called a burn pit

Im in a marine tech class and its to help with the bouncing of the motor it helos to keep the transom from cracking or failing
Some of those cars that John has on his property are extremely valuable Especially that Pontiac Firebird
fax
How much!
I would be careful when you say extremely because none of them are extremely valuable, especially the condition they’re in. Is there value there, yeah sure but nothing crazy.
After someone drops 10-15 grand in them
