  • I use photography for the sheer enjoyment and a way of being creative. So, there was nothing better than a late summer blooming wildflower meadow with all its colours and shapes.
I actually found myself lost in macro world sucked into the viewfinder losing myself in the bokeh and transition to sharp details in the front to this completely blurred out background.
    The flowers I could identify:
Purple Phacelia (tansy), magenta Corn cockle, blue Cornflower (Bachelor’s button), Sunflower, Common poppy, purple Vetch, white Oxeye Daisy, mix of yellow corn marigold and Ragwort, pink spikes of Sainfoin.
***I must give a shout out and thanks to the Southwest National Trust and a Devonshire farmer for planting this spectacular wildflower meadow to attract essential pollinators and for us humans to enjoy.
