Remember in Doctor Strange, he was able to read books in "astral form" as he was alseep? Wanda is so powerful she can walk around and make tea while astral projecting and reading books. Also, the book she was reading is that book of pure evil that Agatha had, "The Darkhold". Also, to give a hint at your other question about whether or not she's evil now. We did just finish a show where she terrorized a whole town, barely said sorry, then flew away to avoid taking any responsibility. So... that's a safe theory, lol.

There was always a Westview. Wanda just made people forget it to insulate herself, the reality she had created. The only Eastview thing was a joke to point out that you live in a town called Eastview, but don't think there's a Westview? I mean you wouldn't have an Eastview town without a Westview one. It's like no north Dakota if there isn't a south Dakota.
"I request elaboration" is one of my favourite MCU moments.
It was a beautiful sign of really understanding the character. And even better than the fact that it was the Vision's way of stopping the fight was the fact that the "original" Vision broke through all his reprogramming because of the power of logic.
The thing with Marvel is you have to continue the journey to get questions answered however that leads to new questions.
She didnt create the hex intentionally. Remember she told vision she didnt know, she told fietro she didnt know, and she told agatha that she didnt do it on purpose. It was just a burst of her emotions.
There was a funny bit from an interview with Paul Bettany when he mentioned that he got the chance in the finale to work with an actor he'd always wanted to work with. People had the craziest theories (people had some REALLY crazy theories week to week when this show aired), and it just turned out Bettany was talking about himself 🤣
When Wanda was on the run with Vision she say, "All I feel is you." In the lab she says, "I Can't feel you." 😭 That was a good call back.
Well reasoned. For those saying Wanda was evil, she was traumatized by grief and loss. She wasn't in her right mind.
A note about the Darkhold: it is a book of pure evil, and has an effect on the possessor not unlike the One Ring did in Lord of the Rings.
I will say after this I was very disappointed in most of the movies after Endgame, but the series have been excellent, Moon Knight especially. YMMV.
Next series to be released was Loki.
edit: when the family took defensive "ready" positions, they exactly mimicked The Incredibles in their first movie.
The top comment made me really mad for this reason. "She terrorized a whole town, barely said sorry and flew away to avoid taking responsibility"??? What are you talking about? Wanda takes full responsibility. Monica tries to express sympathy for her by saying "they'll never know what you sacrificed for them" and Wanda immediately rebuts it by saying "it wouldn't change how they see me". Basically saying that even if they did know they wouldn't hate her less and she accepts that. And her last line of dialogue in this whole show is literally "i'm sorry for all the pain I've caused. I don't understand this power but i will". She knows she did a terrible thing, takes full responsibility for it and promises to learn more about her powers so something like this never happens again. How is that ending off as evil?
Now that we know Agnes wasn't under Wanda's spell, can we acknowledge how wild it is that Agatha - on her own - improvised all those scenes as different sitcom characters? That's kinda funny to me.
That is funny to think about. Everybody else was following Wanda's script and Agnes just "improv"ed her way through the story.
I figure Agatha was getting the "script" just like everyone else, but wasn't compelled to follow it.
I love this series! And it came out as one of the first and the best things to appear at the end of the pandemic lockdowns. We had been so dry with nothing new to watch forever and then they drop this crazy show on us! Something to talk about week after week!
White Vision IS the original Vision...his actual body reactivated using some of Wanda's energy from the drone.
The Vision in Westview was a magical construct, created by Wanda from her memories and emotions. It was a subsconcious and spontaneous thing, Wamda wasn't consciously doing it when she transformed the town, it was just powers manifesting her deepest desires. But Westview Vision (like her kids) could only exist inside the hex.
Important Fact needed to understand what comes next in Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness. Neither Wanda vision or Strange 2 adequately inform the viewers of this important information:
The Darkhold distorts and currupts everyone who reads it. It will give the reader secret info that they desire. For Agatha it was dark forbidden magic, that's why her coven turned on her. The Darkhold currupts the mind and heart of those that try to use it's knowledge.
I've never understood why most people don't get this since it's mentioned multiple times in Multiverse Of Madness, and yet everyone seems to miss it.

@@thebkg No, the Agatha series has already completed filming and has been in post production for a while. It will air on Disney+ in late 2024, possibly as early as September as @nintenmetro suggested.

This really is such a beautifully heartbreaking conclusion to this series. It is... genuinely unbelievable how much loss and trauma she's gone through, and yet... how much love she's had as bright flashes within the darkness. She may not be good, but if she is a villain, she is one born of pain and trauma. Still, that whole theme of "What is grief if not love perserveering?" is just so... powerful. As for phase 4, I know it gets a lot of grief, and it might not live up to Phase 3, exactly, but especially the shows are just fantastic (with some exceptions). Some of the movies... aren't great, but... none of them are really, truly bad. I'm definitely looking forward to you getting to Loki. It is... probably some of my favorite material in the MCU, especially when you make it to season 2.

I remember Paul Bettany who plays Vision teasing before the finale episodes saying "there is one character that has not been revealed, I’ve longed to work with all of my life. Really excited" and it ended up being about himself.... 😅

5:18-5:55 Among the Runes, Agnes explained a subtle reason for the sitcom aspect of this reality. Complex Storylines, thousands of people, spanning a large area. It has to be scripted to be maintained. "Magic on Autopilot" because the plot is already laid out. While Agnes mentioned she had to study for years to master minor convincing illusions. Life is simpler when it's scripted, and as young Pietro pointed out at 7:14-7:20 "Always sitcom, sitcom, sitcom." She loved sitcoms as a child, and remember they were found as children and HYDRA wasn't interested in making them well adjusted adults, just weapons to be used.
The town existed, She and VIsion had title of the lot, and intended to build their home there. That's why she went there.
still my fave mcu show to date..Lizzie Olsen did a wonderful job for this show..episode 8 is a perfect episode..both her and Kathryn Hahn (Agatha) won awards due to their portrayal of their characters here..

1. wanda's kids here are gone because she created them within the hex..those voices of her kids will be tackled on a later mcu entry..
2. yes, white vision is somewhere on earth..
3. agatha only came to westview because she sense a powerful magic around it when wanda created the hex..yah, she's pretty hidden the whole time..she will have her own mcu show, and hopefully we will know more about her..
4. wanda in the end credit scene is reading the Darkhold, a very powerful dark and evil book..whatever the credit scene does or brings, you'll see in a future mcu entry..
the mcu shows each represents something personal/ geo-political/ emotional/ social..this show represents grief..once you got into the next ones, you'll get those representations..
and dont mind the critics and views..just enjoy the journey..there are ups and downs..but just enjoy it..
hope you get into the xmen and spiderman franchises..you'll understand why..

Westview always existed, it was weird that those police officers were standing right outside of Westview in view of the sign for it and thought that it didn't exist. Westview was not created by wanda, but she was able to brainwash people into forgetting that it existed

I’ve heard that Agatha is going to have her own series. In the comics (going back to the early 1970s), Agatha was the babysitter for the Fantastic Four, and later Wanda’s mentor. We first discover that she is a witch when the FF are facing an opponent who is about to defeat them, and Agatha says basically, “Never mind, I got this.“
Many of us think about reducing the HEX to just surrounding their house, but would that be a real life for them?. Maybe that would just be a prison for her and her entire family.
She cant because the spell cant be modified as agatha kind of said. We only see her adding to it or taking it away completely
When my brother let me read his Marvel Comic collection in the 1970s, The Avengers was my favorite title and Vision was my favorite character. I loved his portrayal here especially at the end when, even as his end approaches, he prepares her to meet White Vision in the future. "I have been a voice with no body. A body, but not human. And now a memory made real. Who knows what I might be next?" He even leads her to believe with "We have said goodbye before, so it stands to reason-" which she finishes with, "We'll say hello again."

Regarding the "bigger hair", that's actually a comic book trope. A billowing cape or extra full hair is a visual shorthand way of showing that a superhero is energized up.
Theoretically, “powering up” would increase the static charge around one’s head, increasing their hair’s volume.

Spoiler alert: There is no season 2 of Wanda vision but her story will continue in multiple future projects. If you're wondering why there are no avengers in this series The avengers disbanded after the events of endgame and none of them we're actual friends with except of Clint Barton who's haven't left his family aside after 5 years of loneliness. Doctor strange did not show up because witchcraft and sorcery are two different forms of magic which he cannot sense. Wanda was a witch before she was exposed to the infinity stone it just amplified what would have died out if she didn't practice her witchcraft. Which also means Pietro Maximoff had the witch hereditary trait but couldn't activate the powers due to the fact that he wasn't a witch. So being exposed to the infinity stone turn Quicksilver into a mutant.
Wrong. There will be a second season but it was on hold because of Covid, as were most projects in the MCU. There are multiple sites that say they’re making it.

No there is no season 2 of Wanda Vision coming out unless you count the spin-off Agatha Darko diaries series as a season 2 of Wanda vision. There is a Scarlet witch movie coming sometime before the 5th avengers movie or will be the follow-up movie that takes place after the 5th avengers movie. Not to mention a vision series that was not canceled it only will go under a different title and become a bigger thing like a West Coast avengers project that will not just focus on Vision quest storyline as it was before.
The story is now splitting! Wanda's story continues in "Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness" and Monica's in "The Marvels".

Finally after 6 years we get to see Wanda become The Scarlet Witch. From my understanding with Fox owning the movie rights to X-Men two of the demands Fox had for the MCU was to not mention anything to do with Mutants in relation to both Wanda and Pietro who in the comics are instead Mutants first appearing in X-Men #4 (1964). Also I'm pretty sure the MCU could not use their actual "hero/villain" so Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver were never mentioned until Wandavision.
Fox simply allowed the twins to be used in the MCU as they both had ties to The Avengers and in many ways fall in between the rights of X-Men and Avengers. So Fox in many ways were forced into allowing them to be used in the MCU but just didn't want them to have any X-Men connections, until 2019 when Fox was bought by Disney so the MCU can do whatever they want now in relation to X-Men and Mutants this being why it took 6 years for Scarlet Witch to be mentioned, also hinting towards Wanda having powers before Hydra experimented on her.

You have to watch the "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" movie next. At least to find out what happens with Wanda. For White Vision there is no answer until now.

For the MCU, you have to watch the post credit scenes. The White vision appeared in a post credit scene an episode or two earlier.

It's moving so fast because they only had the 9 episodes. Nobody seems to make shows that are 24 episodes a season anymore. It's sad.
We don't need 24 either, leads to a lot of filler stuff. 13 is a good balanced count IMO
The ENTIRE run of the original The Office was 14 episodes including the Christmas Special, over two years. Just saying.
@@rishabhpbthe best answer is to give the story however many episodes it requires to tell it we'll. No more, no less. Budgeting an episode count prior to completing the script is one of Hollywoods newest mistakes.
Syndicated television shows are structured differently than online streaming. These are 2 completely different things.
Solid writing, pacing, and structure are more impactful than the amount of episodes in a season.
24 is too much. 13 was good for a while as a half season. Then 10 became a norm for streaming shows and now 8 is starting to see more regularity.

I used to go out with a witch and I even dabbled a bit myself and joined her coven for a while (partly because it sounded like a good laugh and partly because I didn't trust the guy in charge of the coven and I wanted to keep an eye on him), and I can confirm that witches don't fly and they don't shoot purple energy bolts out of their hands. They do throw a good party though.

As much as i loved Wandavision the ending was what sadly most Disney+ Marvel shows became for the most part after this show. It felt rushed there were big CGI fights a sky beam too and the dialogue was awful in some places such as Monica telling Wanda "they'll never know what you sacrificed for them". Umm what she held a town captive for over two weeks and those people were being tormented while under her spell.

As a longtime comic book fan, I was elated to finally see Wanda turn into the villain she really is... In the comics, Wanda is responsible for the greatest mass murder in the history of the planet earth...

I'd say Namor is the biggest mass murderer in the comics. During the build-up to Secret Wars he literally destroyed multiple alternate Earths, murdering every living being on those Earths, so his kill total is in the tens of billions at the very least.

imagine if vision comes back in a movie and a bunch of people didnt watch this show..... kinda the problem with the shows imo. a lot of people are writing them off as unimportant but then despite most of it being filler there are some key things that might pop up in a movie and youre clueless as to what happened.
