So when the hymns came the HolyGhost wasnt given yet? Many hymns we know and sing are post Pentecost tbt both historical and theologically .If he then says hymns have premelody then Hymns composed by the likes of John Newton wont be real hyms cos they werent close to the era of King David when the he got His hymns and melodies ? .this is more impressionistic than rightly dividing 🙏
