Another tip: I found out about this the hard way. Wear comfortable walking shoes and good socks! If you are taking new shoes be sure they are broken in properly. In parts of Paris the streets and sidewalks are cobblestone. I tripped and fell in front of a large crowd waiting to get into an event because I misjudged a cobblestone sidewalk. Embarrassing but I was glad I was unhurt. Lastly, have some care items with you for blisters should you get them.
My wife & I did a lot more walking than we had planned. I paid the price for being under prepared. Tips like these are very helpful if it is your first time in Paris. We loved Paris and will go back.
Totally! One of our first times in Paris I thought it would be OK to wear brand new shoes...certainly regretted that by the end of the first day!
Great tips! This time I’ll be walking everywhere. As you say, this way we can find the hidden gems. Also purchased a 24-hour Batobus ticket to tour the Seine. Cheers from 🇦🇺
Great video. Thanks for sharing.

So this video in not for people from other parts of the world, right?
Ok. So this is not for me. But thanks anyway.
She is annoying. I watched "Karen the French" and Karen has visited the US many times. Karen is Ryan......
Thanks for the feedback, John!
