Why would the Bucks do this?? This seems like a downgrade compared to what the Bucks have now. The Bucks don't need Bradley Beal. The Bucks don't want his contract unless maybe teams give them multiple 1st for taking on the contract, and Beals' lack of defense is not what they need. If I were the Bucks gm, I think I would keep Middleton and see what happens with Middleton. He is only playing around 24 minutes a night, so he won't get injured again, and last year, when the Bucks played the Pacers in the playoffs, Middleton showed up.

The KD trade is understandable but this was not. Beal might be the worst trade in Suns history. Trading away Marion for Shaq was pretty bad but this one will hurt the Suns for years.
As a suns fan… I’m calling out you other suns fans for this ridiculous delusion. Trading Bradley Beal for Jimmy Butler does not fix this roster. The suns are lacking quality role players. Trading one aging “star” for an even older “star” does not solve that. We’re too busy trying to make splashes and headlines via trades. We’re not going to trade our way into a championship. And we went from one of the youngest teams in the league AS CONTENDERS to now one of the older teams with a short window. Stop drinking the kool aid! We will soon have no championship AND no picks for the foreseeable future. And in case anyone hasn’t noticed this isn’t the sexiest free agent market except for guys who are well past their prime. Next we’ll try to trade for LeBron 🙃

This would be a terrible trade for Milwaukee, Beal has been a worst player in the playoffs than Middleton has, plus that awful contract could be a disaster. The only way Im ok with the Bucks doing this is if they can get draft picks or young players back for taking on his contract.
