Complete #DIY Sagada Itinerary and Expenses
Date visited: August 24-26
Transportation: CODA Lines facebook.com/codalinescorporation
*The fare for each person is 1,200php (bus with CR) one way.
*The fare must be paid in full to reserve.
*Their Facebook page is legit and very responsive but upon messaging them, you must include your travel date and for how many pax.
*Picking of seats is not allowed.
*The reservation of seats from Sagada to QC is done through their FB page as well, but they will ask you to text/call a certain number, which is legit.
*Make sure to keep your proof of payment.
Accommodation: Lodge Labanet facebook.com/lodgelabanet
*Reservation is done through their FB page. They will respond in about 24 hours after you messaged but they are legit.
*500 per night each person. They will ask you to pay half of your total bill to reserve.
*I picked this place because it’s in the middle of the town, near to all known restos and tour guide associations. Toktoks are so expensive and if you are not near the town, it will cost you a lot.
*They have a water heater, the room is not air conditioned, but spacious.
DAY 1
-Registered to their Tourism office. 100php for each person
-Checked in at Lodge Labanet
-Had breakfast, spent 340php
-Booked a tour guide at SEGA
-Had coffee and pancake at Yoghurt House ( their pancake is a must try!)
-Started our tour to Sumaguing cave. Tour guide fee is 800 that is good for 10 pax but in our case it was divided into 2.
-Went back to our accommodation to freshen up.
-Tried the famous Sagada yogurt at the Yoghurt House. (Prices ranges from 150-200php)
-Went to the famous Abandoned bus, then walked to try Sagada Brew and ended our Day 1 there.
DAY 2
-Marlboro Hills and Blue Soil. We met 2 other tourists and joined us so the tour guide fee was divided into 4. We spent 725php each (shuttle fee included)
-Pongas Falls. Tatlo lang kaming naghati sa fee of 1,250php (including shuttle)
-Paytokan Walk. No shuttle needed dahil sobrang lapit lang nito sa town. Paytokan walk starts at Church of St. Mary the Virgin, then madadaanan nyo yung Angelican cemetery and the Echo Valley, then The Hanging Coffins, madadaanan din yung coffee farm nila dun and mayroong coffee shop that you can try.
DAY 3
-Had breakfast at Isang Wow Cafe. Medyo malayo sya from town and may kamahalan ang pamasahe. 130 each one way para sa toktok ride, pero mayroong kumausap samin na driver and he asked 500 php round trip. Mas tipid ng konti so we grabbed it.
-Bought pasalubong
-Had to go to the Yoghurt House again, because it was so good while waiting for our bus which was scheduled at 2PM.
Feel free to ask questions po, if you have. God bless!
Thanks for sharing this.
Thank you for watching Ma'am!
I miss sagada super sarap mga food i miss yougart house and lemon house. I miss you sagada 😍
This is my place!!!! Did you pass by Ankileng National High school before going up to Pongad Falls? That is my high school.. I wish you went to Balugan, it is my barangay and even more laid back and beautiful, just straight up from Pongas Falls, the opposite way from where you came from .... ❤I know it is very tiring and all hiking but for us natives, it is every day life haha... I hope you still enjoyed despite the weather and the exhaustion
Yes we did! your community was nice and peaceful. We missed that, but I will keep this in mind next time we visit. And we definitely enjoyed everything this is life! far from the chaos of the city.
From mrt/lrt cubao malapit na ba dun ung coda lines?
Planning to do a solo Sagada travel this July/August.
However, as someone with a bad knee and arthritis, di keri puntahan yung ibang attractions.
Kaya ba yung Paytokan Walk?
1k po ang fee para you can walk or tour at your own pace. No pressure kumbaga hehe. Ingat po!
hm did u spend all in all... we are going DIY also sa December
Hello po, here's the breakdown of our expenses for a 3D2N stay in Sagada.
Transportation (roundtrip): 4800php
Accommodation: 2000php
Tourist registration: 200php
Sumaguing Cave: 800 (dalawa po kaming naghati)
Blue Soil and Marlboro Hills: 1450php (apat po kaming naghati)
