I Use To have A Customer With One Of These Cars That i Use To Service And Fix. A Lot Of This Car Is made of Fiberglass And The Front Signal Lights Are Volkswagen Beetle Assemblies Made By Hella Which Made All The Light Assemblies For The Air Cooled Volkswagens . The Engine And Trans And The Main Body / Frame Metal Parts Is A Ford. It's Basically A Ford In Disguise.
This is actually a fake car. It's a fancy looking kit car on top of a Mustang. That's why it's registered and titled as a Mustang. Just imagine if the actual Mustang had a factory recall. What a mess, huh? LOL The car is almost completely fake and is all about looks. They were supposed to look like modern day Duesenbergs and only lasted a few years of production. Those fancy exhaust pipes coming out of the hood only go to the hood and aren't attached to anything. There were a whole list of brands who made these garbage pleasure barges. Most of them had Ford underpinnings and had 302 baby V-8 engines. They were made out of cheap fiberglass but were quite expensive to buy. Fitment problems from cheap fiberglass panels haunted them and they didn't hold their value at all. I don't know about this Zimmer, but most of them were so cheap, the doors would wobble when you opened and closed them. THAT BAD. Today's value of them is pretty much non-existent and that model you're showing is worth about 15 grand tops. Why? Because any car that can pass inspection today is worth 15k. I saw an Excalibur, a much more famous brand than a Zimmer sell for around 13k 10 years ago. Most of them were so long, you needed and extra HUGE garage to fit them. Think stretch limo for parking. You'll notice it uses the stock Ford inside door handles. Stock Ford controls, gauges and shifter. And cheapo aftermarket console switches. And very little rear seat leg room. They were very small inside (Mustang) for a car so huge outside. The wood was real and you can tell how it's completely flat. And you can't believe the 6k on the odometer because most of them either didn't even work or were disconnected. While I have no particular dislike for these cars, "how gaudy can you get" certainly does come to mind.
@@SheilaDrives Thank you and I forgot to mention the three fake spare tires. Is that over the top or what? I think the back one in the trunk might of been real. The headlights were from Volkswagen. Beautiful cars and that one is 40 years old in January. Pretty amazing to still see it still around. Was it for sale? What did they want for it, I'm curious.
@@SheilaDrives No, I'm just a car guy. I built my first car, a 1967 Oldsmobile 442 convertible and had it finished putting out 450hp a year before I was old enough to drive. Today I drive a 2018 Dodge Charger I supercharged and today it puts out 602hp. A cop pulled me over one day just to look at it. (they drive the same thing) Good luck to you and your channel. Oh, and by the way; the real spare on the Zimmer is under the floor in the trunk. I looked it up. LOL
Pretty cool thanks for showing us 😎
Any time!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day ☘️ Supergirl 🍀
You too!!

I can’t wait to do an Excalibur I’m sure I’ll see one at some point

Hi Shiela! The Excalibur’s body style is sitting on a Ford Fox-body frame. The Excalibur is powered by a Ford small block engine! 🥳🔥👍🏾😎
Ty kind sir 😊
@@SheilaDrives You’re welcome! SWEET ride! 😎👍🏾
I do love all cars
@@SheilaDrives A CAR woman! Even better! 🥰🔥👍🏾😆
Not an Excalibur body, those were cars of their own right, this is a Zimmer Golden Spirit, fox body mustangs were the doner cars.
Thats new
I want to see how much it costs (Audi R8 V8 2014)❤
Don’t know what it went for
@@SheilaDrives Low salaries in my country, so I am looking for an old car. I want a 2014 car, not 2008
