This is 21st century punk. No-one else really checks all the boxes like the Lambrinis as far as the attitude , lyrics and sound. Everyone else since the late 80's are just piss-poor copycats of the "77 sound/attitude, at best imho. Quite impressed.
@@attrib I saw them live at End of the road a few weeks ago, stayed for about 4 songs but couldn't stand much more 🤣 Lambrini Girls also played at the same festival but the tent was mayhem and I couldn't make it inside 😮💨
🤘 Fine, I shall buy your album, next week, because it fucking rocks, but please, for the love of all things, do a vid for Terf Wars as a further "fuck you" to all the feminism appropriating reactionary transphobes.
I'm curious what your intention with this comment is. You're entirely welcome to not enjoy their music, and you can even proclaim that they suck, which is all well and good. But are you claiming that they aren't punk for providing a content warning? That leads me to believe that you probably don't know what punk actually is. Above all else, punk is political: it's a call to action, it's holding injustice and human atrocities in the light and forcing the audience to confront their own complicit behavior in these acts, it's about agitating and activating people to DO something and create solutions. This song checks off all those boxes. Including a warning at the front of the video makes the message crystal clear: the song is about calling out the people (which I guess you fall into this category) who perpetuate rape culture- both actively by engaging in unethical sexual conduct themselves, and passively by not speaking out when witnessing unethical behavior from others. This song is NOT about retraumatizing people who have been sexually assaulted, and the warning is for them so they can assess for themselves if they want to engage instead of being surprised. If the warning doesn't apply to you it's because you are *privileged* to have not been traumatized by sexual assault, and like good for you buddy. But to scoff at another person's trauma is very not punk behavior
@@delicateghoul My intention is to call out the bs post modernist attitude of embracing being shit as a shield against criticism of actually being shit because they need to sell a message. A message we've already heard before and its about as effective as a wet fart. I'm sure the elites are quivering as two drunken white girls screech like harpies about pervy boys. Because nothing things "I was abused" like calling it out .... years later after they benefitted from the business transaction. 🙄 Nobody is scoffing at trauma. Your trauma is your own personal responsibility, not mine. Grow up and check your own white privilege. With your sanctimonious bs you probably already raped 3 people.
Also punk has nothing to do with holding "injustices" accountable. That's activism. Has nothing to do with punk. Good job either being brainwashed in getting your terminologies mixed up or you're such a zoomerlet you have no idea what anything means anymore. You're not punk if you're adhering to what the system adheres to. You're part of the system. Not Punk. @@delicateghoul

Hi LG! Here Stacy Shade, we're waiting for you in Bologna (italy). 🤟🖤
My only question: why wasnt the drummer included in the video?
I’d say it’s because he might be a touring drummer

punk is a lot of things, but absolutely nowhere does it say you have to be an asshole. quite the opposite
@@delicateghoul no, punk has always been about killing people for fun and getting away with it.
A bit of a chip on the shoulder. I recommend more time in the rehearsal studio.
Bugger that, rehearse LIVE. Come to Australia, girls.Good to see you're using strap locks now!
