- Andy Mitten shares his player ratings for Man United 2-2 Liverpool in the Premier League at Old Trafford. Erik ten Hag’s Man United turned around a first half that saw no shots on Liverpool’s goal and 0-1 deficit to lead 2-1 in the 67th minute with Kobbie Mainoo’s first senior Old Trafford goal and a brilliant Bruno Fernandes strike, Salah scored a penalty in the 87th minute to make the Final Score 2-2.

Despite this being a disappointing campaign, the young lads have scored some absolute bangers this season.
Katie Price catching a stray one 😂
Jonny 10/10
The Northern Irish Baresi
Thanks for sharing your rating
Too nice on Casemiro. 5 at best and that’s because of the overhead kick
Breath of fresh air your UA-cam content. Mature, balanced, well thought through analysis. No hype no sensationalism - spot on - please do more
This result on the heals of United U18s beating Liverpool 9-1 away has made me a very happy fan this weekend!
Yeah, that was a lovely win. I watched the highlights this morning, and it really cheered me up.
The first team should be getting nervous as several of those kids could be challenging for first team slots in the next 2 seasons!
@@davidlohan1212 exactly the same mate… that team gives me so much hope!
@@kevinduff3584 💯% mate
Erik’s youngsters…
You might just make it at this journalism lark Andrew…
Ah no, but seriously, thank you for all you do.
On another note, watch us spam a top 5 finish & then the coefficient implodes with the other eejits all losing in Europe this week & we’re confined to the Europa Dungeon for another year..
Always look forward to these.Nice one Andy,Cheers.
Excellent summary Andy, best wishes from David from Urmston!
Thanks Andy. UTFR!
I know I'm late for the player ratings, but I'd to throw in my vote all the same. Jonny Evans, 10/10!
Casemiro is a 5 at best his legs are gone and just gives the ball away , kobbie is not the fastest at getting back and needs better behind him to flourish its not fair on the kid having to try and carry on his own but we don't have the options atm so lets hope we have a good summer transfer window .
The art work is always really cool on the cover of UWS.
That’s Stan Chow
@unitedwestand5251 Please Jim David back Erik for next season at very least this season had so much trauma.
Yes as Erik Said we have improve fast.but I do see what he trying do..We look like scoring now wasn't the case Early in the season..Harry maguire well done helped Kwamballa look at the positives..No Shortcuts we can take..going take time and lot of Work.
He can play like did last season more defensive was No gaps in midfield..but he trying implement his way now in season 2..this is start if it and The Most Dangerous part..players back next season see how it Works.
Your gut on ten hag will Jim back Jim like he mentions Arteta got. What Your Gut feeling?
I thought young Kambwala played well considering it was his first start for the club in the League!
Second. Started against West Ham too.
Thanks Andy - I get why AWB was silly for putting himself in that position for the pen... but it seems like the rule is now basically if the opp player touches you then its a pen. That slow mo shows Harvey Elliot simulating and they dont overturn it. I do not understand
3 games in a row 9 points could have been won but united won 2 points.
The penalty was simulation from Eliott. Feel bad for AWB as he withdrew his leading leg from the tackle and Elliott bought the contact from tripping himself. Frustrating that var is practically pointless even with all the technology.
Don't be ridiculous. He's a liability. £50m, up there with the worlds most expensive full backs and he's absolutely shite
Limited as he is, tackling is the best part of his game
Yeah,as we found out at Chelsea too!
Dude take your United glasses off - that was a stonewall penalty.
Needless challenge too.
We would be better off not being in Europe at all next season, there are some extremely good young players that are beginning to knock on the first team door, and a season of less games could help bring some of them through. These young players are the ones that will keep Ten Hag in a job and get him a new contract.
Andy, is it not a concern how a player doesn't get touched & yet still wins a penalty? With VAR present? The beautiful game is surely dying, thanks to this modern day culture 🤦🏽♂️
No matter how the rest of the season goes, I'm just happy that we kind of screwed up Klopp's final few months... 🤣
Maguire was mint yesterday. Stopped pretty much everything that came near him.
Genuinely thought you’d given Amrabat a 2 which even then would have been pretty generous.
Dalot is turning into a real baller, his takes on the run and crossing is the best I’ve seen in years
Are you at Bournemouth, Andy?
Only brightspot in a dark and dismal season is the emergence of the youngsters like Garnacho and Mainoo.
We have a core of players that we can build a squad around if we buy the right players: garnacho, hojland, mainoo, kambwala, dalot, mount, Martinez, onana, Biyendir, Amad. Bruno too - he has proved that he can play in a more disciplined way when he plays with more skilful players for Portugal. If we can get 2 or 3 ball playing defenders that would strengthen the midfield, improve the impact of onana, and create the transition style that ETH wants. We need to give him structure and players and I think we could have a successful third season . In pre-season ETH also needs to work on getting attackers to work better together and provide more chances to hojland. Shaw is injury prone but should be kept as backup left back and central defender. Anthony is showing signs of a possible redemption. I know the owners won’t but I would sell Rashford. That would give more chances for Amad. Would sell maguire, mctominay, wan-bissaka, sancho, greenwood and evans . I would love to keep Varane and Casemiro to provide role models as part of a first team squad, though I accept there are significant issues of form, injury and wages here. Would keep lindelof as a backup. So we have about 14 existing squad players plus new signings plus any youth players that might break through. Around 20 players in total. Then if we have money buy a second striker and then another midfielder.
Andy, Do you think the owners are forcing ETH to play Rashford? I understand it was part of the interview that ETH had to get the best out of Rashford. This is the only reason I can see why he plays Rashford so much.
' More partners than Katie Price' 😂😂
The season is gone already and no Europa next season might be a blessing in disguise for this United team. Still got a FA cup to play for I think United should go all in on that
the only good thing about today is that it cost liverpool the league. the bad thing is that it set up city for another treble. i will have to start supporting real madrid till the end of the year and to think i wouldn't give them a virus.
Forget 4th or 5th.. United have to focus on not losing 6th place. West Ham, Newcastle and Chelsea are coming.. if we drop any more points we might be facing a season in the euro conference league!
I would like ETH to stay. I would like some stability. He has a hands on approach to the youth academy sides and watching them especially u18 who smashed dippers 9-1 you can clearly see the work. The seniors are too set in Ole counter attack to effectively implement his tactics. They press too sloppy are easily by passed leaving a massive hole in midfield and the opponents raving toward an under protected back four. It started against Wolves day one and has continued. How thick are footballers. The youth players seem more intelligent thankfully and technically gifted. Future looks brighter.
Stats are so misleading, not a single shot for Utd yet the ball was in the Liverpool net. Yes offside but nearly a perfect start and would’ve been a game changer obviously
Kobbie is better playing at 6. There, I said it.
75% of the dippers shots ended up in the canal 🤣
Casemiro a 6? Couldn't pass it to a red shirt, a 5 if you're being nice.
What is the point in qualifying for European football when you will be embarrassed yet again
Liverpool to be honest have to get rid of at least 7 players if Ruben Amorim is the coach next season or Roberto De Zerbi and keep an eye on Lewis Koumas,Jayden Danns,James Mc Connell,Bradley Ammara Nallo,Bobby Clark,Musialowski,to Liverpool fans against our next opponent Must feel the hostile territory .It is our duty to make Anfield a terrifying fortress for them and with the determination of our team that is unbreakable Liverpool are better than you think am talking about Liverpool of the future.
Andy. Mainoo didn’t leave Diaz on the corner. They were zonal marking and Diaz moved out of his zone. Never liked it.
Aston Villa have a difficult run in to say the least. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that they could be caught if United pick up an unexpected run of wins. That said I don't think they will and the draw rather than a win today put paid to any chance of catching them.
MU lacked composure and made too many errors.
Ten hag trust youth more i know hed like too..tough leave rashy evans Varane Maguire out Tho.Big Names.
Casemiro really poor. Just hope United can start winning at Bournemouth. Need to get better organisation and service for Raz.
26 different pairings at back .suppose build from their Can't Without it Shaw massive miss more balanced team then.
It’s looked like 6th all season to me.
Sometimes you come out with an absolute pearler as if you’re a walking Wikipedia but then in the next breath get something fairly simple wrong!
never a penalty, clear dive... watch it again, var is kraap, what idiot thought you could evade subjectivity in such a free flowing and complex game?
Bruno 7 is a joke!
HAHA
In my opinion, we should part ways with ETH at the end of this season, because he claims that he will not play possession football at United. That's it.
Think Rashford 5 is harsh, worked hard and was good on the ball. Thought he was actually better than Garnacho.
Liverpool should have scored four goals. Eleven points behind 5th place. Manu has nothing to celebrate.
It's not sad to see, let's hope Rashfords out for the season
It looked like he just had enough and wanted to come off. I get that with some of my Sunday league teens when they find the going tough.
Tbh, he's been awful and invisible most of the season.
What do we need to do to keep a lead
It’s just worries me United doesn’t have any control of the games that we play this season, Eric basketball tactics might be nice for neutral fans but not for me.
