Some of these softball questions (about 98% of the questions these "reporters" ask) are hilarious. "Tom is awesome. Do you think Tom is awesome?" Then the one contrarian question is off the charts stupid.
These “ reporters “ are a joke. The only sports I follow are mma, and motocross. Both sports have horrible press conference questions. I mean it’s like folks with the brains of 5 year olds show up with a camera and label themselves a “ reporter “ . It’s terrible. Ufc use to have really good press conferences that were worth watching. But that was also 7-10+ years ago. I use to watch every press conference for ufc. Rarely do now
Cause most of em that ask things like that are from the country of the fighter they're asking about and just wants Dana to slobber about em

Ticket prices are crazy, so I am all for stadium shows. Especially outside the USA where people are used to paying less for live events.
It's terrible here in the US. You can't even depend on the players or fighters being there as well. Nba sit there guys out too much and ufc you can always depend on someone getting hurt

Dana gets so salty when talking about Ngannou. He can’t stand that a guy was able to leave the UFC and be better off, he doesn’t want other guys following the example of holding out for more money then leaving if they don’t get it, the thought scares him to death and he tries to play it off like he doesn’t care
Jiri stoppage was too early, we know jiri can survive that, from previous match against reyes/glover etc knock down he still manage to recover & comeback

Dana has valid point. They tried making francis vs jones, francis didn’t want to. Why would ufc co promote with a competitor company that cant sell ppvs. The guy asked a really stupid fuckin question.
Any reporter who asks Dana about the future plans of anyone who fought that night, should be kicked out of the press conference. No explanation, no questions , just get your stuff and get out.
I watched Saint Denis from the beginning and I am super excited to see where he goes from here.
I’m not sure Dana understands why they break records at arenas. It’s simple they can charge more ppl, more money. Concerts have to use at least 25% of the arena for the stage and sound equipment. Plus the mixers and engineers take up a huge spot on the floor to do the sound. Basketball games give up a huge amount of space for the court. So yeah, UFC is able to pack in several thousand more ppl paying twice if not quadruple what a concert would cost. I mean yeah, they break the records. But only because they can charge 1000s of more ppl to get in.
I think he mentions that only to stick it to the boxing world. He just hates Arum and De La Hoya. Other then that ya great point...

Personally idc for the Jones v Miocic fight . Miocic is obviously not as good as he once was. At the end of his rope and Jones v Aspinall would make more sense and be more of a fight. Jones would devour Miocic.

It’s called a interim belt, and a real belt. It’s nothing new in the UFC. There have been a lot of interim champs. Jones has the real belt, while Tom has the interim belt. Therefor, there’s 2 champs at the same time.

I'm surprise that people are still ignorant enough to think that the UFC would ever co-promote now days. The Pride era is over. You don't see the NFL co-promote with the XFL. Why would the UFC help them out? Makes no sense. Francis could have fought Jones but he left. Regardless of the reasons. He priced himself out while not being a draw. Jones stayed and Francis signed with PFL after he saw what Jones did to Gane. These are facts, not opinions. I don't let any bias change my words.
You don't know what you're talking about. Francis made up his mind before the Gane fight. And Ngannou was calling out JJ for 3 years. While JJ was on the sidelines, Francis was putting in work.
