- Ansys has a host of easy to use wizard for setting up metal 3d printing process simulations. These allow you to model the distortion and compensations needed to ensure the right part comes out of a metal 3d printer. This video demonstrate how we can quickly setup a laser powder bed fusion simulation in the Ansys workbench environment.

Thank you for providing this video. How can I talk about the simulation of FDM through ANSYS. thank you very much
Thank you for providing this video. How can I learn more about the simulation of LPBF through ANSYS?
Hi,
Thanks for the tutorial. Is there any way to define the scan pattern?
And what is the imported load here in staric structural
Transient temperature data from the build simulation
Thx for tutorials but i cant. my results is not additive. like normal stress/deformation. what is the reason? can u help me? I have a Red exclamation icon AM process
Same problem!!! Did u sort it out????
@@madhurimamedagam2830 yes i did. Because of academic license. Additive is not available for student/academic.
@@emrecan6632 ohhhhh, soo did u like figure out any other way to solve this?
@@madhurimamedagam2830 nope
Thank you for letting us know about this limitation. Ansys Additive is a part of the Ansys academic packages available to Academic institutions. This maybe limited to the more recent release. Please check with your Ansys provider.
Hey, this option isn't available in Ansys Workbench student 2023R2 right? Which license should I go for ? (Will ask my research institute )
It is. I am using it with my teaching license aswell.
Is it doable on Ansys 23 R1?
How don you make the model?
Thank you for your tutorial.
which version of ANSYS did you use? i can't get it in 2021. or how to add this module?
I'm using Ansys 2023 R1. This is part of the Ansys additive science package.
can i get a trial version with additive package ? i need to simulate SLM process for ceramics@@OzenEngineeringSimulation
