The story goes that a bar band named Paris that started up in a town just outside Pittsburgh by a guy named Bret Sychak went down to Maryland to check out this kick ass live band called KIX to get some pointers on how to put on a live show that the crowd won't forget. So he learned what he could, packed up his band and went to LA in 1984 and changed his name and the band name to Bret Michaels and Poison.
after this many years for a band that is pretty much still in tack ( the "new" kid is even better) , they still sound like they did back in in the day,,,,,,,,,,,,hat's off
One band i overlooked and didn't pay attention too in the height of their career but listening to them now. Wow I missed out back then when I was jamming mainly too Kiss .
I was actually in the video filmed at Hammerjacks in Baltimore. They sound just the same now as then. I love listening to them it brings back some great memories. Keep rockin!!!
HAMMERJACKS IN Bmo...bangin' club...Kix and Crack the Sky(if you don't know them, check them out)...bands from Md. kicked major ass back in the day...great fuckin' scene...loose women, cheap drugs, great drinks, and some of the best rock n roll in the country...I traveled all over in the 80s and always looked forward to coming home to Ceciltucky Md....
Just saw them in Delaware a couple weeks ago and was blown away with the quality of the show. I knew maybe two songs of theirs going into that show and they won me over big time. The guitar work is top notch. Go see this band if they come to your area. You don't want to miss them. They will rock their asses off for you.
Where in Delaware? I'm from Ceciltucky Md., but went to the bars and clubs all over Delaware, Philly, D.C....we used to go to Hammerjacks in Bmo to see Kix and Crack the Sky...there were a shitload of other bands big and small...loved all of it...Crystal Rocks, George Thoroughgood and the Delaware Destroyers, B.M.F., Murphyz Law, Leon Smith and the Shades of Blue, Tite Squeeze...so many bands, so many burnt brain cells...lol...
That's because they're at The Whiskey A Go Go. The greatest bands of that era played there so the crowds are used to seeing Van Halen, Crue, Guns and others play there.

Saw them at Harpo's in Detroit on this tour. Liked them a lot. Still like Midnight Dynamite the best and didn't dislike Cool Kids like b they did. Been to the Whiskey a few times.
One of the most underrated Rock bands of the 80's. If they were from LA and not from MD. They would have been a lot bigger.

Hope his hips are insured! He moves more than Elvis!
No shit! Not bad for 59.
great show!!
The crowd kinda sucks for a band of this caliber. The audience seems half asleep?!
They are stunned by the coolness of this song!
They were never that big in the US.
sykwookiee They were more successful in Japan. At least they got out of Hagerstown.

Anyone know if Dude still works at Concept 90?.
Some kick ass shit
I wish he would at least make an attempt to sing the beginning
fuckin a
The sing alongs ruin this show for me - The singer should just sing the words to the song like on the record.
