    Excellent. I sure enjoy when you paint in "real time" more than squiggles in photoshop - that's good too, but this is better.

    Good one, Phil, showing who to draw animals with paint masses, something the so-called "wildlife artists" and others on you tube now adays, using opaque projectors to trace images and color them in, like they all did in kindergarten, with their coloring books, would know nothing about now, since they Can't Draw Anything by themselves any way!! ;D LOL

    This is very helpful for the simplicity of using your three value method . My question is what's the name of the violet u r using?

      hi Lincoln, it’s a dioxizine purple from Daler Rowney Georgian oil paints called grey violet.
